Congratulations on the good start!! Make sure to read the recipe thread to get some ideas to keep your menus from being boring.

Awwww thanks ShineOn! The feeling is mutual Let's just hope we both don't have a bad day at the same time!!

Yep, that's the one. A group of ladies from MRC are going together. Some of us will walk and some will run. The center is making tshirts for all of us to wear to advertise a little. It should be fun. I just hope we have good weather. I'm not sure what rain would do to my motivation

I had to literally CHOKE DOWN my salad at lunch Sunday and cldn't even stomach the THOUGHT of another one for dinner. We do a LOT of eating out when I'm at his place because he's a typical living alone male and keeps NOTHING in his fridge and while we've known each other for years, we've only been dating since Jan and I don't wanna be that girl that just takes over his place. *sigh* So Sunday night we went to the only place that wasn't gerasy fast food that was open *italian* and I ordered and ate something with pasta in it. Then along comes Monday and I figured, **** I wasted 4 days last night, might as well make it 5 and remind myself of all the good stuff I will get to have again when this torture is over and had two brownies, a small Krackle bar and kept the rest on plan just not very in proportion. That's my first willful decision to say screw it since I started! Now I'm having trouble getting back on, not interested in going back to WI, I'm out of money and I might have 2 more days worth of HNS *at 2 per day* and I'm flat a$$ sick of what I'm eating. I don't want to deal with exercise beesh cuz I'm liable to tell her to screw herself if she opens her mouth but I don't want to be rude and just walk out if she gets my file or ask for another girl. *shrug*

So now I gotta figure out how to fix me.
Hey Connie! I was wondering about you, I feel you girlfriend and I am sending you a big hug! I know that it can get discouraging, I'm there myself. I have been on program since January and I am so sick of chicken and turkey that some days I can barely choke down my food. I could not even finish my green beans today, I had to heat them up twice and I still was only able to eat half! I am going to look at the recipe thread and find something new to make. I went totally off program the weekend that I went to see my boyfriend. I didn't even try...I know.....very bad!! I came home 5 lbs heavier! I know most of that was water weight....but still 5 lbs!! I lost 3 lbs in 3 days and have been struggling since then. I am losing very, very slowly and I am totally on program, no cheats at all. The only thing I can think of is that I may not be eating all the food I am suppose to eat, not finishing it all cause I can't stomach it anymore. I'm sorry I can't help you I can only empathize with you since I am in the same boat as you. Maybe it's because we have been doing it for so long that we start to lose our motivation? I don't know how to fix me either.... FYI -- there are new girls at the center, I had someone new today & there was another one with her that was new sitting in, she didn't introduce herself and I forgot to ask her name...she was ok....very positive.

Hey there! Wow isn't it awesome to go shopping and you try things on and they are too big that you have to try on a smaller size! It is a great motivator! How many pounds have you lost? Usually the inches are more than the pounds so 12 inches does not sound right to me. I have only lost 23.5 lbs but I have lost 35.5 inches. I would ask them to re measure you on your next visit....something is not right! You are doing great....keep it up girl!

Default Struggling here....need help

Hi everyone!

I have been struggling for the last 9 days and I know it is entirely my own fault. I went off program for 2 days, ate whatever I wanted and drank some wine (a couple of glasses) and didn't take my supplements or any of my pills. I came home 5 lbs heavier but lost 3 lbs in 3 days. I have been totally on program for 9 days straight and lost the 5 lbs but nothing more. I am right where I was the day before my cheats.

My program expired on 4/2 and I was hoping to start stabilization since I am 6 lbs from my center goal weight. I had an awesome counselor today, she went and spoke to the manager and she agreed to let me have 2 more weeks to meet my goal so I need to lose 6 lbs in 2 weeks. Not that hard right???? Wrong!! I have been struggling to lose 2 lbs in 6 days! I am so sick sick sick of the food and I miss my cereal, my popcorn, my couple of pieces of chocolate. I have been doing this since January 8th....3 months of restrictive dieting! No caffeine, no sodium, lots of water....80 - 100 oz a day! What am I not doing? I am lucky they gave me 2 weeks, I should have met my goal by now! I work out when I can, I worked out both saturday and sunday, 1 hour each day at the gym. I can't work out more than that right now, I am working 2 jobs and work 12 hour days 4 days a week. The counselor suggested that I change up what I eat, try something new so I will do that but I am a very picky eater I tend to stick to what I like. I don't know what to do....I want to meet my goal of 6 lbs in 14 days but I know I need to do something to push it. Please help me with suggestions.....I am willing to do anything!!

Thank you for listening to me....I actually feel a little better after venting to you all. I am so close....

Take care all and I hope that you can inspire me with your words of wisdom!!

Default My goal

My goal is to sign the 20lb board this week. I went in for weigh in yesterday and was down another 1.5 lbs. My counselor said you are only 1.5 lbs away, I said see ya Friday get the marker ready It is cold here right now, 20 degree drop so I plan on going walking when it gets back up in the 60s but the 50s is too cold for me. Checked the weather channel and tomorrow it should be in the 60s so I plan on walking 3 times a week

NewMe2009----Don't get frustrated. Take some deep breaths......okay, have you ever tried the Meta Quick shakes? You can have a meal replacement bar for breakfast, a shake for lunch, and an on program dinner. You are allowed to do this up to 7 days in 1 month. I have tried this in the past to kinda jump start & change things up a bit and it worked for me. I have never done it for 1 solid week but 3 days at a time. You could do 3 days this week and 3 next week. 7 shakes come in a package. Good Luck to you!

Hi Everyone. I am a repeat offender. I have gained 17lbs back. Long story short....I weighed 191.5 when I started and 145 at stabilization. I didn't follow stabilization properly, stopped going to the center and fell back in to my old habits. I wrote a little thread the other day about gaining the 15 lbs and going to lose it without the help from my center. Well, I have wisened up and today went to the center to resign. I feel like a big weight has been lifted. I know feel like this 15 lbs will come off and then some. I told the girls at my center that I have all the supplements & HSN, and I know the menus inside and out but I just couldn't get it together. For me it is seeing them, talking with them. I love the feeling of having my own personal cheerleaders. I will be weighing in on Thurs, I'll keep ya posted.

I fell completely off program this weekend, and now feel guilty for slipping so bad. I am up 1.5 pounds (by my scale) since my weigh in Friday in which I was FINALLY down to 205 and I bet I could have been down under 200 by next week. I don't know if it is the extra sodium or if I really gained or just b/c I haven't gotten in my water like I should have since everything hit the fan here Friday evening.

I am really sad and upset and over the weekend half the time I didn't feel like eating then when the hungar finally hit me I just went for what was there. I left my home over the weekend and bounced from friends house to friends house a bit too scared to go home. So I ate what was available which was definitely off program.

Today I didn't fare much better. I am going to give it my all tomorrow to get back on park. I think I am going to skip my WI tomorrow, eat right and go back on Friday to see the ultimate damage I have done.

Take care everyone.
I totally agree with ShineOn, please do not take yourself back to an unsafe situation and seek the help you need to get through this. As for the plan, the center is there to offer you the support you need, go back sooner rather than later. Take Care.

Isn't that an amazing feeling? You are changing into a new person - shedding the old and revealing the new.

You're off to a great start! Most guys lose at twice the rate so she's probably right. That 30 lbs will be off in a blink. You'll have to learn all the life changing lessons during stabilization & maintenance since you'll be at goal so quickly!!

I'm right there with you. Somedays I feel like I know the program better than the consultants, but I need the accountability. I just laugh and say I'm paying them a lot of money to micro manage me. It's all worth it - I don't eat, cook or think like the old me.

Congratulations!! You are rockin!

I tried water aerobics today - woowhee - it was a tough workout!! My arms are still shaking and my legs burned worse than when I run! I'm on week 4 of stabilization, so I decided to add more exercise. So far, everything is going great - should see a decent drop in weight this week. My goal is to log 16 miles of running and two water aerobic workouts. It feels wonderful to be able to exercise with a different goal in mind. I've always exercised in the past to lose weight, now I'm just doing it to maintain weight.

Stay strong ladies & gent!! Have a great OP week.

So as you see above my goal for this week is 2 lbs. Today at WI, only one pound lost. That makes me with only one more pound til I get to sign the 30 pound board. It is exciting, but it does get a little frustrating when I go in and have only lost 1 pound... I am doing everything perfect!! Ugh. I just have to remember that losing a pound is better than gaining a pound every WI.

Hi everyone! So I go in tomorrow to get my WI and also to stock up on some of that liquid stuff HSN I think its called because I'm officially done with my pre-conditioning. But for some weird reason I feel kind of nervous. What if I gained weight ya'all??? Man I would feel mortified. I started at 196 lbs and hopefully by July I'll be down to about 160. I'll let ya'll know how it goes tomorrow....Wish me luck....Hopefully I haven't gained anything.... Well keep up the good work everyone. Ya'll are a truly inspiring group of people!!! Thanks for all your support.

Hi 1 thinner me!

Thanks for your response....it feels good to know someone is reading your posts and wants to help! I have not tried the Meta Quick, they have never mentioned it to me. I have the bars and shakes, I do about 3 in a week, because of my work situation somedays I have to do the bars/shakes for my dinner meal but I only replace that one meal, not 2. I think I will try this today, I have not had my breakfast yet and I have a bar with me. Thank you so much for the suggestion!!

Congrats on your recommitment to a healthier and thinner you! You can probably do 15 lbs in a month! Keep us posted on your progress, come here often, reading everyones thoughts and suggestions and struggles helps me and I know it will help you! Take care!

I'm feeling better today! I saw on old friend yesterday who I had not seen in a couple of years....she said you look great, so thin, you haven't aged a bit! It felt really good, I needed that little boost!

Have a wonderful OP day and good luck on your WI this week!
