Congrats! Its a great feeling to be able to sign a board, but an even better feeling when you sign it and have gone BEYOND the board number. I signed the 35 with 2 extra lost pounds on Monday, went in today and lost another 2.5 so I was half a pound away from the 40lb board. I could have been bummed about being so close, but I am happy because I know I can lose ATLEAST another .5 before my next weigh in, but will probably even lose more...which puts me closer to the 45lb board!

i didn't get to sign the 10lb boards we have in our center. i'm back down the 2 i had gained over last weekend from the alcohol friday and this morning my home scales FINALLY showed a loss again of 1 lb. they hadn't budged since the thursday before my friday indescretion so i think that i just happened to maybe hit my first plateau at the same time as i cheated at the same time as that ONE week of the month. if i keep going on the avg i had been with their screwed up math i shld be like a week or so away from breaking 200 when it comes time to reenroll which might be incentive enough to pay for it even though i don't yet know where i'll get the money.
i like the bring a pair give a pair thing - sounds like a great idea as long as someone's got the size you need! i think i'm going to suggest it to the bubbly one that i actually like next time i see her.

Hi Everyone!
Congrats to everyone signing the boards and everyone losing every week!! I haven't been on this week and everyone is plugging away!
I just signed the 25lb board this morning - yay! I'm back in my skinny clothes that I haven't worn in like 5 years. Going to see "Girls Only - The Secret Comedy of Women" tonight with my mom and a bunch of her friends. They are going out to eat, and I'm meeting them there afterwards so I don't have any temptations at the restaurant.
Congrats againg to everyone!

Yesterday was a HORRIBLE day for me! Work is REALLY stressful right now. We have a lot of deadlines coming up this month and are working a number of overtime hours. I am such a stress eater and I am really fighting the urge to eat everything in sight. It doesn't help that our office catered in a taco and nacho lunch yesterday. I did my best to stay away, but not completely. AARGH!! I felt so sick all afternoon. Today I am retaining A LOT of water which I hope I can lose by my Monday weigh in.
No plans for eating out the rest of the weekend so I should be able to stay perfectly OP.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

It really does feel like I just started! I believe this is my 10th week...so 40 pounds in 10 weeks is awesome! I haven't even tried any new recipies yet and even tho my meals are pretty repetitive, I am not really bored. My breakfast is EXACTLY the same every morning and I rotate pretty much the same 4 or 5 proteins. As a treat (and totally allowed) my husband will make me a small sirloin and it totally feels like a cheat because I eat chicken and fish 99% of the time. I have to be honest tho...I have kinda slacked off when in comes to exercising. Last week I did a lot of heavy duty work around the house (packing, painting walls and moving furniture) this week I sorta took it easy. I felt wiped out from last week...and I am still losing! My bff may be joining the gym with me and that will be total motivation. We LOVE spending time together and she has never stepped foot in a gym before and I have always had a gym membership but no motivation to go. I know she will be what drives me to go everyday and she will be the one who says "I did 20 reps...how many can you do?" I am hoping this will totally be a good thing!

Melissa-congrats on signing the 25# board!! Enjoy the show, sounds like a good one. Great plan to meet after the dinner. There is enough temptation out there so it's wise to just avoid when possible.
Yesterday was a really bad day for me, too. Don't know if it's TOM rearing it's ugly head or what, but I felt tired and washed out all day. When I'm drained, I am more apt to hit the snacks...and yesterday was no exception. Ugh!!
I thought about skipping adding another devil to my signature line, but a deal is a deal. So I'm fessing up, adding the demon and getting back on plan. It's time to rack up the hearts and get those last few pounds off.
I want to start stabilization on March 1st, but I want to get to goal weight before I start. It's doable, but there is no more room for slip ups. Oh, how I love a challenge!

Okay ladies for that eating out night and someone suggests Chilie's like my hubby did last night and I about died! They have a guiltless menu that has the protein grilled or with no fat sauces (I skipped that part and just had the grilled w/ seasonings) and then seasonal vegies. I did the grilled tilapia which was yummy and had broccili. Then when I got home I had my 5 pieces of melba toast! I was totally getting ready to order the salad and have them leave off 1/2 of the items on it!

Wow - those are some great losses!! Congratulations to you three!!
Just had to share an NSV today - I ran my first 5k and completed the whole thing without walking - it was running the entire 35 min and 51 seconds!!! I'm so excited. My longest run without a walk break at this point has only been 8 min. I just did the 5k for fun - figured I would see how far I could go without stopping. I even sprinted the last 1/4 mile!!! Feeling great - such a high all day. Weight loss has been good too - I lost another 2.5 at last wi and have dropped another 2 on my personal scale.

Hey there Viola,
I'm doing good. WI today and down 3.5. I've been strict on plan (except for bacon Thursday night @ dinner and Chinese meat Friday). Those are bad slips, but I was still able to lose the 3.5 lbs since Tuesday that I had hoped for! Keep up the good work! NO MORE DEVILS!! We're almost exactly the same weight. My goal (with MRC) is 120 and MY personal goal is 115. I'm hoping for St. Patrick's Day but think I can do better than that. Let's DO this!

Rocki...how are you doing???

Sikumom..They just started one @ my center and I couldn't make it there. I SO wish they had it when I first started b/c I had tons of stuff to get rid of.
Oh, I never gave up caffeine. I still drink coffee. I know we're not supposed to, but I never stuck it out .

WOO! Down to an 11/12 from 20/22! That's awesome!

DLA..Sorry the job is so stressful and the food being brought in is not a big help, that's for sure. However, I'm envious that you're working overtime. Our business is struggling to make ends meet . Good luck making the 70lb board! You can do it!!!

Went today to weigh in, and have moved on to week two of stabilization - yay! (Had to do week one twice because I was retaining water between my UTI & stress, and a little off-plan eating.)
