I always thought ETA was estimated time of arrival? Tells you how much I know acronyms lol.

And why is OP 'on program' when 'off' also starts with an O, so really OP could be Off Program? When I first started here I had a hard time with that, I would have to read and re-read messages and wonder if the person is saying On Program or Off Program. I finally figured out on my own that it always meant On Program. Stupid me I was too shy to ask!

Ok I'm adding IMO = in my opinion and IMHO = in my humble opinion

Me too! I had never heard of ETA as edited to add. We always use it as Estimated time of arrival.... so, I'll put that as an option as well.

And you're right OP could really be either.... On or Off.... I guess we're very positive people around here! haha! Since they are always using it as On Program, should we leave it as is or what? Maybe we should fine an option for Off Program? Like ODP Off D*** Program (just kidding).

Yeah, ETA definitely stands for estimated time of arrival, but I think online forums have often used it to mean edited to add as well. :)

Thanks for the acronym list, I get confused sometimes trying to figure out what people are talking about.

As soon as you added ETA with that definition, it totally made sense for an online forum... but I think I'm just not "up" on all the latest terms! That's definitely why I need this acronym list! I think I'll be visiting here for myself often! ;)

I, too, am thankful for this list. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what BLTs were...except of course bacon, lettuce, and tomato. When I was reading that in people's posts I thought...well, no kidding, you aren't on program?

You're welcome!

That is hysterical! No kidding.... bacon, lettuce, and tomato..... not exactly on plan!
