I'm hoping to hit Twoterville tomorrow. I didn't go today even though my home scale did show a loss since Monday. I just wanted to make absolutely sure. I had a weak moment Monday night at the bowling alley with friends, even after eating a fully on plan dinner before heading up there. I had a couple of bites of my friends pizza, 1/2 of a hotdog and several (about 20-25) french fries. I don't know what was wrong with me. I just caved. They ordered all this food and it was just sitting there on the table, staring at me! I did manage to have the foresight to take my fat/carb blocker. But I'm sure I'll hear the "kicked you out of fat burning mode" speech tomorrow when they see my food sheet. Maybe I'll conveniently "forget" it.

Re: Smoothies w/cottage cheese

I absolutely hate cottage cheese. Even tried to eat it off a salad bar the other day for my protein and just couldn't choke it down. But, I've found when I blend it with the HNS's and some fruit, I can deal with it a lot more. Today's mixture was probably the best one I have ever made. Only used 5 oz of cottage cheese though. Also had some frozen mixed fruit (strawberry, pineapple, mango, passion fruit), a Strawberry Kiwi HNS, Mixed Fruit Fiber and some water. I was completely shocked at how good it was. I was will be making this one again. The plus is that I saved my creamy so I could have a Rootbeer float tonight as my snack!

Hope everyone has great weigh ins tomorrow!
Angie: I just love your personality! You are such a vibrant lady! I did get a laugh out of some of the things you said though! I sounded out your twoterville! LOL Suppose I am not all there right now, just thinking about all this fiber that has been mentioned and took the twoterville literally! Don't go tooting around the center now! LOL I can just see the eyeballs on the french fries too! Hey oh well, it happens and I am there with you! Good luck! Twoterville is in your near future!

Hi all....I haven't been online for a while and haven't had the chance to catch up on everyone's successes....so congrats to all the losers!

I WI on Monday after a good weekend OP. Lost 4 pounds and won another free week playing Deal or No Deal!!!! Woohoo!!! I have officially hit ONEDERLAND! Then....I had class in another town for the past two days, making staying OP a little tricky, so when I WI on Friday or Saturday, we'll see what happens!!! Anyway, I'm feeling better, things have calmed down some on the homefront and I think I've accepted the fact that things will probably change as far as my boyfriend is concerned. So, hopefully, I can get the rest of this weight off and feel better!

Crested...glad to hear that you are doing better..woo hoo on the 4 pounds!! That is awesome!
You know I am a firm believer of .."if it is meant to be, its' meant to be", your paths will cross again if it is supposed to. My hubby and I were friends in high school, and he went into the Air Force, we went our separate ways, he married for a short time, had a child, divorced, and then we crossed into eachother's lives again. This time we turned into more than just friends We were married 1 year later, and now 5 years later, I still can say that things were meant to be for us.

One question I forgot to ask since I'm on Detox this week is what about shellfish. Are shrimp and crab legs allowed?
Thanks and congrats to all these great weight losses!

Could someone tell me the guidelines for Metaquick. The people at my center do not know. I would like to try it because I have fallen off the wagon and want to get going again. How many HNS do you have, how many shakes do you have and what do you eat????

This is from the old thread and then I'll come back and post personals to everyone.

Lori..Thanks for all the comments back. I love Edy's too! So I'm also glad I didn't go to Target. Actually the soda wasn't on sale like I thought. The special was the free ice cream. I wish I had gotten some @ WD yesterday when my BIL called to tell me about it.

Jenny!!!!! YOU ARE DOING SO GREAT! Hopefully that 30 lb board is YOURS!!! That's what I've been reaching for too! I'm hoping by the end of next week. I still have 3.5 to go.

Gotta go to sleep. This is my 3rd TOTAL OP DAY! I'm so proud of myself. I just have to keep it up! WE CAN DO THIS EVERYONE ! ! ! !

Suflrgrl!!!!! WAY TO GO! That is amazing. I'm so psyched for you. Keep up the GREAT work. That's awesome that people are noticing and how can they not with almost 40 lbs gone?

Boomer..Sorry about the gain, but I totally understand. I do that to myself all the time. It's hard to stay on track but we all know it's worth it. Just get back up and brush yourself off and you'll be fine! No matter what my "PLAN" is I end up deviating when I go out or am with friends. It's better for me to just stay home where I'm more controlled and contained with my food choices. What did you put in with your ground turkey for the tacos? I use the bison sometimes but haven't done it with ground turkey and I have 3 packages at home so I should use it for tacos sometime too.

It has been difficult to get logged on lately; my laptop is telling me my hard drive doesn't exist. My DH is working late, so on his PC right now. Hopefully mine will be fixed later this week.

I went to wi on Monday after going off program on Friday. I had bread and rice with my dinner (along with a few alcoholic beverages...) and oh boy...went from 2 lbs down from my prior wi on Thursday to 2 lbs gained (4 lbs overall difference). Ugh! I had told myself I would behave before I went out, but just lost all courage when the menu was in front of me.

I have been OP since Monday though and am hoping my wi on Friday will look better.

I bought some of the 25 cal tortillas at Publix and made taco meat with ground turkey. Surprisingly good. It was nice to have something different for dinner tonight. My 6 year old even liked it.

Congrats to everyone with the great losses this week. I am hoping to get back on track and start logging some of those losses too.
Lori..Thanks again for the suggestions. I'm going to try this cottage cheese thing too. I'm tired of eggs and cheese for breakfast and I have cc at home that I need to use.

1 pkg double chocolate pudding supplement (or any flavor you like)
4 oz water
4 oz low-fat cottage cheese
2 pkg artificial sweetener
10 ice cubes

mix in blender until smooth.

I usually have a piece of toast with ICBINB sprayed on it for my starch.

Also like to make it with the lemon chifon pudding mix & 1 tsp of cherry extract - kinda like a cherry lemonade. One time I tried it with the hot cocoa mix it it wasn't good at all - had to choke it down. I've thought about trying it with the cappacino(sp) HNS & hazelnut splenda, but haven't ventured there yet.

Hope you enjoy it!
Lori
Angie..You are too funny. That damn bowling alley food will getchya every time. Like I told boomer up there. Get back up, brush yourself off and get on track again. That's the story of my weight loss journey! UGH! Did you get to twoterville yet?????? Where's your update? I can't wait to hear! Your smoothie sounds good. I'll have to try that one too. Also, how do you make your rootbear float?? Oh, UGH to that damn "out of fat burning speach". We know it, darnit! Obviously we need to be reminded though b/c we keep doing this to ourselves. I "forget" to include bad foods sometimes to (on my food sheets). I mean, really...we KNOW we did wrong! I think it's good accountability though! If we know we have to write it down we might not "cheat" as much. I was trying to decide whether I should put my Chick Fil A sandwich on my food list today!

Nickie..I've only had the chunk albacore tuna once and really didn't like it (it was too chunky for me). Thanks for the mercury info for us. I think I'll stick with the normal chunk light tuna in water.

Redgirl..I'll have to try the peach mango in tea as I'm one of a few that actually like that flavor also. The girls at my center told me that the shakes fill you up more, but I'm not sure. They are filling, but I liked having real "food" to eat so I did the bars for breakfast. Good luck and be sure to let us know how you did after you're done with the MQ diet.

Later, I had another jello. I had a grilled chicken salad for dinner with a piece of toast, and a peach mango hot tea! Wow! Thats alot! So far so good! I am not hungry.

Why do you all think that you will lose more if you do all shakes and no bars? The shakes have more calories and carbs? Curious...
WOOO HOOOOO KRISTIE!! Can't believe you won another week, but WHATEVER! You deserve it. You're doing so great and congrats on making it into ONE derland! That is awesome! Do you work in the Regency area?

Slow day at work, so I am checking in on the posts. Guess I'm lucky I'm the boss, so can't get in trouble, but definitely not setting a good example for my staff if I do get caught.

Crested1 and Finz: Welcome to ONE-derland! Here's a cheer for each of you

Thanks for the smoothie ideas. I'm going to try one with fruit for lunch tomorrow. I'm just worried I will be like 3MM and still be able to "taste" the cottage cheese.

3mm - thank you for the recipe ideas - I am going to go check out that thread today and see what looks good - I am going grocery shopping tonight so I am planning my meals before I go

Has anyone made any GOOD turkey sausage - I was thinking that would be a great sub for eggs in the morning - I CAN NOT DO ANOTHER EGG!! UGH and I never thought I would say I am tired of cheese!

Everyone here is such an inspiration - thank you for all your posts of your ups and downs it lets me know I am not alone in this journey and others struggle just as I do....

Forgot one thing - Have you all tried the Carb blocker? I am going out to dinner next Wednesday with Friends and I am really worried about ordering off the menu. I am actually thinking of taking my own salad dressing spritzer! Do any of you recomend getting the carb blocker?

Thanks
