The maintenance menu is really a good balanced menu so it should work great for you if you maybe add a few extra calories, maybe with a light snack or two. You might also talk with MRC about your year of maintenance - whether you want to use it now or can you maybe do a "medical hold" type thing, not sure how that would work. But then again that year of maintenance might be just what you need for the next few months to keep you on track.
But most of all, congratulations!!!
Hi Meemo, and thanks. I HOPE I've learned enough from MRC to continue healthy eating habits, but I have to admit that I've started fantasizing about mexican food, pizza, Chick Fil A, etc! I know that MRC does not offer any menu program for pregnant women, and I'm afraid that they will not allow me to continue on stab/maintenance for liability reasons. Which I understand, but I'm thinking I might like to try an accelerated version of stabilization and then get my hands on a maintenance menu. You know how tight they are with that information! I considered keeping my pregnancy a secret from them, but that could get complicated with weigh ins and food journals--if I'm hungry, I'm actually going to eat now

So, I'll probably talk to the center manager (who happens to be pregnant) on Thursday and see if I should still go to stab class that night and what, if anything, they can do to help me through this.
Thanks for all the good wishes, ladies!
