I cooked the oatmeal, added the cottage cheese, which looked pretty disgusting mixed in with the oatmeal, then added the cinnamon and nutmeg and nuked it again. Sat down at the table, took one bite and couldn't handle those little cheesy curds in my mouth. Down the sink it went, and I am back to my one egg w/cheese and a slice of cinnamon toast.

GMA to 4 I'm so glad that I'm not the only one. I thought that I must have done something wrong. I tried it several times because everyone talked about how great it was. I hated it. It was slimey and just plain weird. Now I know I'm not weird.

They do take pictures on boards that you tell them are significant for you. They took me signing the 50 pound and the 90, as I told them once that I never could 'see' myself signing those. Christy always makes sure to point those things out to me (I love her out of all the counselors, to me, she is the best).

We had my son's consult today, the specialist said his tonsils definatley need out. So he is scheduled for surgery on June 13th. He has a Washington DC trip on June 2 through 5 so we made it like right after so he would be sure to get to go on his trip.
Yeah on the earrings, you are going to have to get a new jewelry box to hold all of your $10 rewards Keep up the great work!

Donuts/Darren....how much have you lost on stab.? I want my final goal weight to be 160, so I am wondering when I should stop losing, and start stab.? If I am counting right, you lost 10 pounds since you started stab. ! You are just awesome!

WI today for 1/2 lb loss. I won a basket full of products today at the center for our monthly contest! That was exciting! Last week, I didn't post my WI, but I lost 2 lbs for the week. So I have been doing clears only and cutting out my dinner bread and sometimes no veggies or 2 oz. This has not made a difference! I know what the problem is...EXERCISE!! I need more!
Don't cut out any of the food from your menu. We are already eating VERY low calories. You could try to eat the lower calorie choices from the menu. I think 3MM posted some things awhile back. Try sticking to chicken, turkey or fish for dinner for 1 week, and eat your lower calorie fruit and veggie choices. But definately don't cut anything out, you will stall b/c your body will think you are starving. Try just doing something active for 30 mins a day, even if that means vacuuming your entire house, or mopping the floors on your hands and knees. Gardening/yard work burns great calories after an hour of the work. Use the stairs everywhere you go, and park near the end of the lot when running errands to the store, or just a simple vigorous walk around the block will do. Sneaking exercise in will really pay off at the end of the week. Keep it up, and you will see your results

Donuts - I am soooo happy for you! Onederland! You have been such an inspiration and I know you have to feel just amazing. Congratulations. I can't wait to hear more about how your stabilization goes. And you better stick around when you hit maintenance!!!

I didn't make it to the grocery store last night and I was totally out of eggs, cottage cheese and even regular cheese. I have just had an HNS and a slice of toast for breakfast. Ack! I think I'm going to have to run down to the convenience store and pick up a couple of sticks of string cheese.

I have just found a favorite drink! It was on our center's "recipe of the month" and it is a great energy boost. You use 1/2 orange hns, 1/2 mixed berry hns and one "shot" of liquid minerals. You mix that with 20 oz diet Sprite (I used a can of white grape Diet Rite since I can't have aspertame.) Add ice, and yumm-o! It tastes like a great Sonic drink. My kids love it, too! A great way to get in your hns and liquid minerals in a different, delicious way!

I weighed in at the Odessa center today instead of the Midland one due to something involving work and was a little nervous about using a different scale but it was good to me and I was down 2.5 lbs since Thursday. I'm only 4.5 from a new board (the big 4-0) and 6.5 from my "major-mini" goal! I'm very excited about that and would love to be there by the weekend but I know that's asking for a whole heck of lot! So right now, I'm pushing for next Tuesday to accomplish both goals, Thursday at the absolute latest. Then I'm getting myself a tanning membership! Woohoo!!!
You will do it. You just need some will power to get through the weekend. So I am sending some your way.

ONE-derland!!!

It's been over 17 long years since I've seen one hundred and something on the scale. It feels really great. The MRC program works!!! I have lost almost 160 pounds in less than 11 months. When I first walked through the MRC doors, I never imagined I would be where I am now in such a short time. Jewelie, you would be so proud of me, I was able to bike 1.5 hours on Saturday and run for over 1 hour Monday. It's hard to put a price on good health. It's worth every penny!
Congratulations! That is such an accomplishment. You have worked very hard for this. While we all want to look good, I think health is the main reason we are all here. You have added quite a number of years to your life. Way to go!
