My face
 

When I first started on this weight loss thing it was all about getting the belly down (and the health irritants that go with that). But the bigger thing has actually turned out to be seeing my face change, and for the better too. I love the way losing weight from a state of obesity has an amazing effect on people's faces.

It's not just me either. I find the most remarkable thing about people's before and after pics not their body shape but how their faces are completely transformed.

It is just me?

No, it's not just you. For those who have lost a LOT of weight, it's very obvious in the body, but I agree that the face changes are very noticeable. Maybe it's because we focus our attention when we're talking to someone. I can tell that I'm losing because my clothes are getting loser, but I SEE I'm losing when I look in the mirror even while brushing my teeth and notice that I have a chin line again.

I lose fro my face first. I still don't quite have a jaw-line yet though.I am begining to wonder if I ever will have a nice strong jaw (probably not). I have been overweight/obese most of my adult life so I honestly don't know. Although I appear to have an "oval" face now (as opposed to a round one from before) which is good because those are the ideal meaning I don't have to lock myself into a single facial-hair style. I hate being restricted by something so concrete as biology.
