Daily Intake
Day #1
1.5 lbs. frozen blueberries 3 dates 1 cookie(my daughter made them, didn't want to insult her) 1 can of sliced peaches 1 can of Minestrone(200 calories) Oodles of water 1 bottle of Muscle Milk(low fat and 25g of protein) Dinner will be fresh green beans with chopped garlic, mashed potatoes, and lean steak. Gym - 30 hard minutes on the bike, 30 minutes circuit weight training. Mile and a half run - outside |
Might I suggest a lot more protein and veggies? Fruit is good but it contains a lot of sugar and carbs. Specially if you are going to be working out a lot you'll need that protein for your muscles.
I'd also stay away from canned fruit- tons of sugar in that syrup :( Dinner sounds pretty good, minestrone too if it's homemade OR is low sodium :) Not sure what kind of plan you are following but things like whole grain cereals, veggie omelettes, etc, are great for breakfast :) |
With protein so low you can expect a fair amount of muscle loss, dispite the fact that you're lifting. Maybe you can afford it. I can't. I need to keep what little I have so I keep protein intake high.

Packed in 100% fruit juice, not syrup. |
Sugar is sugar whether it comes from fruit juice or syrup. Just looking at a generic nutrition label that says 26 grams of sugar for 1 cup that is a LOT of sugar.
It's just a suggestion btw. Good luck. |
