Here's my current pattern -
1. bar if I'm working
eggs/oatmeal/pancake if I'm off
2. bar or cinnamon pretzels
3. chili w/salsa or sloppy joe w/roasted red peppers & dried tomatoes or cold tomato soup w/salsa (faux gazpacho)
4. pretzels/puffs/bites
5. L&G
6. bar or brownie or pudding
I was doing shakes for breakfast a lot in the beginning. It was familiar - I used to have a protein shake for breakfast every morning. Then suddenly this spring I got sick of all the liquids - right now I want to CHEW EVERYTHING.
I did a lot of hot cocoa & cappuccino over the winter - both for breakfast or my after dinner meal.
This time of year I can't seem to get enough bars - I ordered 11 boxes last month, and I think I'll up it to 12 next month. I'm on the run so much in the summer, that bars are the easiest. I do lots of pretzels and puffs, too. (I bought a case and 1/2 of puffs when they discontinued them - I hope they last til they come back).
