Hi Tisha - welcome!

There's lots of hints for doctoring up the food. Part of the issue is that everything is low sodium, but your taste buds will adjust in a couple weeks.

I cook the eggs on the stove, and add lots of black pepper, a little salsa, hot sauce and a little salt. Garlic powder is good, too.

The chicken noodle soup is better with some parsley flakes, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Try adding a little splenda and vanilla to the brownie. Some people like it better with more water.

I really like the parm puffs and all of the bars. You can try microwaving the bar on a plate, coating side up for 10-15 seconds on high, and eating it with a fork.

Hang in there, it gets better!

I really like the chili (add salsa) and sloppy joe (add roasted red peppers). I love the hot cocoa (add cocoa powder, cinnamon, ginger & cayenne pepper). I like the chili puffs better than the parm, and both pretzels.

Does the center have an exchange policy, or will they hook you up with people who want to trade food? I get my food by mail, so I don't know how the centers work.

Add a pinch of stevia or whatever sweetener you like to the brownies. I added Tabasco or Mrs. Dash chipotle mix to the soups. Never tried the egg, hated the puffs too, and the smore bar was meh. Loved the peanut butter crunch bar, however.

Make your shake up ahead of time and place it in your refrigerator for a couple hours if possible. I eat the vanilla plus for joint health and love them. I don't doctor up my food and I'm used to not adding salt or sweetner to anything.

I love all the bars, brownies, puffs, soft bake cookies, but cannot take the soups or oatmeal.
You will lose if you stick to the diet.

I haven't tried the joint shakes, but I like the regular, antioxidant, and appetite suppression shakes.

I agree with Theresa, the shakes taste better if you make them ahead of time. They get a little thicker, too. I'm not drinking shakes right now - I'm on a cocoa and cappuccino kick.

The premade shakes are awesome and super convenient. I don't just love the s'mores bars, but the caramel bars are the absolute BEST IMO. I did not like the parm puffs the first time I tried them but now I'm completely addicted to them.

Don't give up! Today is the last day of my first week. I understand you don't think the food is great, but Thin tastes better to me than anything and this program really works from what I can see. Just modify you food a bit if you need to like some of the other posts suggest.

I never really liked the mango soft serve. I added cocoa powder til it drowned out the mango flavor. I added some cocoa powder to the chocolate mint, too, and made it as a shake. The soft serve makes a nice thick shake - the coffee with instant coffee added is really good.

I really like the chilli. I was told to add 3/4 cup (instead of 1/2) of water a let it sit a extra 5 min and it's perfect! Also if you use the pancake, try this. Spray some non-stick stuff in a regular bowl. After you shake your mix pour into bowl and microwave for 80 seconds. Then let it cool, and the pancake will just fall out. . It's thicker like a cake.

I have a tips page for 'fixing' the foods. It might be helpful!
