another nubie

My husband and I will officially be starting our plan on Monday :carrot:
Our meals are actually on the UPS truck as I type LOL
I'm 5' 2" and at my heaviest weighed 165 :o that's a lot of weight on this small body. Where I'm sitting today (roughly 144.pick an odd number) I'm struggling with getting this last of the 20-25 lbs I want to loose off. Frankly I think it has to do with too many calories (obviously). But really too many calories for my body height and small boned figure.
I'm excited about medifast, which will bring those calories down and keep my nutritional needs met. However, I know it won't be long term and I know in the long run healthy lifestyle is the goal. :D

My husband is joining me, as well. And we will start together
But he decided to take a few measured into his hands already. So starting this past monday he gave up beer, increased his water in take and started making MUCH healthier food choices. During this week, he brought his weight down from 148 (Monday) to 237.2 (friday) this morning. :smug:

I have to admit I'm so proud of him!!!! ...yet i'm so stinkin jealous, because I don't know what else I can cut out of my diet that isn't healthy or with in good proportions. I know it has to do with his extremely bad eating habits to begin with and major change to those changes and he has more weight to take off than I and it's always those last pounds we struggle with right? LOL

We do have our health coach and it's nice because we know another couple using the program and she is their coach as well.

We are gonna buddy up and get this done.

Some goals we have...

I'm going on a girls trip the end of August and want to look and feel great (1 month on the plan should make a huge difference)

We are taking the kids to Cocoa Beach, FL in September and we wwant to look and feel good on the beach. :carrot:

:welcome:

I'm sure you will have success on Medifast. The first few days can be a difficult adjustment, but just get through it! You won't believe the difference once your metabolism shifts.

Good luck! You'll do great!

Jay

~Groceries bought for the next 2 weeks to accommodate the changes and still keep my kids from starving LOL ;)

~We start Monday! :carrot:

Sent my husband off to buy brown paper lunch bags so we can divide up our food into days so we can just grab and go! :D
