Is anyone succeeding?

Where are the YAYs! -???? Is anyone succeeding on Medifast or WonderSlim?

Jermsgirl 07-29-2010 09:28 PM

I've lost 8 lbs. since starting almost two weeks ago! I was STARVING the first week, but since about the 6th day I've felt GREAT! So here is a big YAY! :)

Lyn2007 07-31-2010 02:37 PM

I am down 43 pounds on Medifast so far. Most Medifasters use the official Medifast support site boards.

queenofoz 08-02-2010 01:15 AM

I am 8 weeks in and have lost 25lbs. It has been a steady loss and I know if I start exercising, it will help. Hubby is also on it and he has lost 36lbs. We have mindset and expect to stay on it for another 6-8 months.

Jermsgirl 08-02-2010 03:39 PM

Congrats to you! 25 lbs is GREAT! :)

Behemoth 08-02-2010 09:32 PM

I started out on Weight Watchers, but really didn't have the time for all the food prep, so started I Medifast since I can just grab and go for the most part. I've been on for ten days and I'm down 8.3 lbs.

But big guys loose fast at first. We'll see how much the weight loss slows down.

dcleblanc 08-03-2010 01:17 PM

I've lost 13 pounds in 3 weeks. It's been really effortless. The hardest thing for me is to eat the lean & green at night. I'm just not ever hungry. I guess that's a good thing.

I started this because I've had two friends lose successfully and quickly. One of them is my mexican-food buddy so I knew if she could do it, so could I.

Good luck! - PS - don't order the pudding. It's awful!

Jermsgirl 08-03-2010 03:52 PM

Oh I LOVE the pudding! :) Chocolate is my FAVORITE! I add a dallop of cool whip (fat free/sugar free) and mix it together and it tastes like mousse!
I didn't like the vanilla, but I added some almond extract and now I think it's delicious! It's funny how everyone has different taste buds. ;)

Medifast worked for me. I lost 73 lbs in 28 weeks on the Medifast program. I'm one of this years Medifast contest winners.

New to Medifast

Hi,
I started Medifast on Sunday, 10-10 and so far, I am down 9 pounds, and extremely excited about that! :carrot: The first couple of days were tough. I went to bed early. I had headaches, and I felt like I did not have enough food. But then, my appetite went away and I kind of made myself eat. My appetite is back, but I have also been exercising. I am really going to need the support, because I totally have the ability to self sabotoge, and yesterday my cravings were up. My goal weight of 150 pounds seems so far away.

dcleblanc 10-19-2010 03:23 PM

Update -

So far I've lost 43 pounds in 14 weeks. I have 11 pounds to go. I love Medifast! This has been exceptionally easy.:carrot:

mom2mollie 10-20-2010 04:52 PM

Yay! I'm so glad to hear all this. I just ordered Medifast and I plan on starting Monday when we get back from our weekend trip to the coast. LOVE the good news! Sounds like it really works. I want to lose ~25 lbs, but will lose more if I think I can and need to and if it's really effortless for me too.

Marci123abc 10-21-2010 02:41 PM

With Medifast, I'm wondering if most lose the same amount consistently or if it fluctuates. And if it fluctuates, is their a pattern to the fluctuations. Thanks

justducky2 10-22-2010 01:11 PM

YAY! I'm down to 212 from 245 on a similar program. The weight loss has been pretty consistent, as long as I stay on program. It works, folks.

Marci123abc 10-23-2010 03:58 AM

Good to know. I ate beef this week instead of fish and have not lost.

Marci123abc 10-23-2010 04:01 AM

But i have no remember that not gaining is also a success!

queenofoz 10-23-2010 10:01 PM

I am a few ounces away from losing 50lbs. In my 20th week and have averaged 3lbs a week. Hubby is also on plan and has lost 85 lbs!
One thing I think has helped s having a health coach for Medifast. If you signed up online with no support, it is a bit harder without the support.

mom2mollie 11-01-2010 07:49 PM

I just finished my 7th day and as of this morning have lost 10 lbs!! (178->168). For a VERY busy mother like me, this is SO IDEAL. I want to get it off quick and then I can do the rest myself. I only wish I'd tried this earlier!

mom2mollie 11-09-2010 03:54 PM

Lost 3 lbs the 2nd week. Doing great!

irishchik 11-09-2010 04:45 PM

Congrats to all you losers!

I am 2weeks in to the plan and have lost 5lbs. I use wonderslim products since they are a bit cheaper.

queenofoz 11-12-2010 11:25 PM

Congrats to momtomollie and irishchik! I have shed another 5 lbs to make a loss of 55 so an pretty happy. Hubby is down 93 lbs in 22 weeks!

mom2mollie 12-10-2010 03:55 PM

I've lost 19 lbs in ~6 weeks. I have about 2.5 weeks of food left, and after that I'm transitioning over to Weight Watchers. I kinda miss eating real food, especially fruit. :) Hoping to lose another few lbs on MF before I run outta food, though!

Congrats queenofoz!! Wowzers, 55 lbs is AWESOME!! And your hubs down 93 lbs-- must be so great to be doing it together. I'm so blessed that my hubs is totally supportive.

beerab 12-10-2010 05:06 PM

It looks like people are updating in here- I'm on day 2 and doing MUCH BETTER than day 1. I had a headache yesterday but not today. And I'm not as hungy either but I won't lie I can't wait to go home and whip up some dinner!

I will say I feel like this stuff is cleaning me out! lol.

mom2mollie 12-10-2010 08:48 PM

Yes, just stick with it a week and then you should have no problems. It's probably the soy protein that's cleaning you out-- that happens to my mom with soy. lol

Peaches5577 12-21-2010 08:25 PM

My Mom has been on Medifast for a few months now and has lost upwards of 50+ pounds. She looks and feels amazing. I have added it into my daily routine and use the snacks and same eating methods and lost 20 simply doing that. I am back on track after a small hiatus and am hoping to lose another 20-30.
