Man there are alot of posts... Jacque, my thoughts on transitioning are more along the lines of frequent, small meals, more of snacks through out the day. When we went on vacation this is what I did and i didnt gain a pound in 1 week of off plan, eat whatever I want kind of. Of course my little meals were veggies, fruit, nuts, lowfat cheese and protien. I now have radishes instead of chips and celery instead of cookies... this new choice style has made a huge difference in my life
To everyone else, Good morning and have fun with life today! Im pressed for time, (like most days, and like most of us) gotta get the boys ready for school and then the little one and I go off to bible study for a couple hours, then off to a lunch with a friend then we gotta pick something up at the store then get brother at school then YAY, back home!
Hopefully I can get more personal then... LOL
Love you all, and thanks for wonderful reads and inspiration!
XOXOXOXO Missy

I HAVE TO SAY...YAY ME!
I didn't go crazy at the campus luncheon! YAY! I had turkey breast and some sort of broccoli-tofu-peanut casseroley thingy-ma-bob. I did have a small (very small!) piece of chocolate whipped pie - made by someone who has diabetes, & it had no sugar in it... was good!
So .... I didn't go crazy! - YAY ME! (I'm actually quite proud that I was able to be so good )

That's great, Beachy! I haven't confronted that tough situation yet but I know it will be hard, even harder than a restaurant because the options are limited more at a potluck like that! I've got a seminar tomorrow all day which will mean... 3 shakes and a bar... luckily I've got some box shakes/ready made... I will miss my soups though!

Good Morning MFer's!
Glad to see everyone is still working the plan...Even the small Ooops...are not derailing anyone...getting right back on track will certainly minimize the damage!
Susan-My dentist called! They took pictures and molds of my teeth and sent them off to the lab. They do a computer image of what you will look like after the lumineers. I have an appointment to go see that today! Can't wait! The wax model will take a couple more weeks to come back. If I wait to see that...no way they will be done before Thanksgiving...If I decide today to go ahead with it...there is a chance...
Of course I have my first case of Poison Oak (I thought I wasn't allergic to it. Ha!) It has spread all over my face...So I'm sure the dentist won't want to touch me this week!
Keep up the Great Job! Have a great OP day!
DJ

I have a question about mixing stuff...
I read somewhere yesterday (can't remember where!) to put some salsa in the tomato soup & it would help the taste, etc. But I didn't know you could "mix stuff" in with the MF meals. So anyway, I tried that just now, & YAHTZEE!!!!! Now I like the tomato soup!
Any other suggestions of what else I can mix with other MF foods to help the taste or texture that won't counteract the actual diet? Thanks!

I made bread with the tom. soup and eggs but put too much onion salt in it. I could hardly eat 1 serving of it bc it was sooo salty! I'm now SOL bc I'm foodless till 5. I've used some "green" in the tom. soup by sauteeing portabella mushrooms and tomatoes and adding them to the soup. Really good! Another person told me about using it with only 1/2 cup water to pour over cooked cauliflower.
I feel really great today now! Feel trimmer all over already!

Ashley... I believe you're a chef deep down inside! "cooked cauliflower"... who ever heard of such cuisine?
I'm trying to think of something else I could come up with for the Chicken Wild Rice soup... but as usual when it comes to recipe'n, I'm coming up blank!

LOL I am an amateur chef, I guess. I've made some complicated recipes that required a full 9-5 day in the kitchen. I won't name the stuff bc it'll make us hungry! I've missed 1.5 MF meals now today and feel like my heads being sucked inwards. chicken & rice- you could add more chicken. I put the MF crackers in it to bulk it up. I like the soy crisps better though.

Hi all, jsut a quick check-in. Looks like everyone is doing great. I'm so jealous of all the soup-talk. Because I'm allergic to most of the stuff, I'm stuck on shakes all day long (and the occasional egg thingy) - still don't mind them, but man, some soup sounds good. I still have to do some homework on substitutes for a few of the things so that I can keep myself on track long term.

Oh my! I just got home and the new Crunch Bars that I ordered have arrived! I just had the Chocolate mint flavor...Oh my my! These are WONDERFUL. I'm talking about so good that they are dangerous!
I liked the idea that none of the food so far was so good that you would be tempted to binge...These bars are...I could see me eating a whole box full in one sitting!...eh hemmmm....I mean the old me of course. The new me has much better self control....
maybe

DJ, GREAT to hear they are delicious! I haven't ordered any yet but do have my order coming up at the end of the month. Let me know what you think about the other flavors. I was going to order 1 of each. Thanks, Dan-O
