Default Another question..

I have a question about some side effects I think I am getting from Medifast. two days ago I started to get a cold sore, now this is the worst cold sore I have had in years! Also my glands in my throat are swollen. I did a search on the mymedifast board and didn't find much, just a few posts here and there from others that seem to have cold sores as part of the medifast diet. Anyone here have any experience with this happening?? Will it go away the longer I am on it?? This is a huge and very painful cold sore and I can't imagine going through this for months while trying to lose weight.

Ouch! I hate cold sores. I get them sometimes but not since on MF. I wonder if it has anything to do with your body being under a bit of stress from changing your diet so drastically and everything. Hope it clears up fast!

I haven't noticed any change with myself. Hope your sore goes away soon! Try some Abreva.
