Default Look at this cool thing......

I'm going to buy this tomorrow. It's a Cooks Power Blender with attachments @JcPenny's! It's half the price of the Majic Bullet. I look forward to using this when I'm at home! Go check it out at the Penny's website.

Wow!!! That's really nifty! Let us know how it works-- I've wanted a Magic Bullet for a while, but I've heard that if you put anything "too substantial" in there, they break... And I have a JC Penney Gift Card from the Holidays that I need to use-- and this would be perfect!
So I'd love a rundown to see if this is something I should buy!!

I got this idea from another MF chat board and a lady on that site said she loves it. I can't wait to get it tomorrow!

Okay so I purchased it at JCPenny's today. The price at the store was $59.95, but on the website it said available in stores. The cashier said I couldn't get the website price ($39.95) b/c it was not including shipping. I told her there was no note she basically could care less. I asked to speak to a manager and he honored the website price!!!!!! YiPPiE! So I had a shake this evening and it was wonderful. I put crushed ice cubes and my 8 ounces of water added the packet and it was such a wonderful smoothie! I'm glad I purchased it!

NICE! Good deal making with the manager

Cool! Well, I think I will head down to JCPenney this weekend and see about finding one! It's good to know it can handle ice cubes! Do they have to be pre-crushed?

lol eep! Hmmm... That's always my issue with "food processors"--They're all SUPER loud! My live-in boyfriend works nights and I work days.. :P so I have to find a lot of innovative ways to be quiet so he can sleep

Can you microwave the cups (like the magic bullet?)

I also recommend the Bella Cucina which is like a Magic Bullet but much cheaper. I got it on sale at Macy's for $25 and I've taken it on business trips in my suitcase and to meetings or people's houses. It comes with many cups so I don't have to keep washing one container.

I got a Hamilton Beach personal blender last night. Wal-Mart and Target both have it and it was only $16. I made up a shake last night with some ice and it worked really well! The only downfall is that it has one mixer/cup with it but it is easy to rinse out. Anyway, thought I would let you all know about this one too for another option to look at.

Is there a way to get extra cups?

It does not say anything about getting extra cups anywhere. I am sure glad I bought it though. I used it for 3 of my meals yesterday!
