Day 4 and starving!!

  • So I am on Day 4 and todays the worst day yet...I am so hungry Please tell me this is going to pass...I thought after day 3 hunger subsided!
  • Are you eating your lean and green at dinner or lunch? I found that if I ate it at lunch, then I was starving the rest of the day. If I saved it for dinner, then it really made a difference. You would probably also be ok if you slipped in an extra salad at some point in the day to help tide you over.
  • Are you drinking your water?
  • Yes I am drinking my water I have been fine the last 3 days...could it be TOM thats effecting this hunger??? I am normally starving around that "time". I wonder if maybe my hormones could care less that there in ketosis.
  • Yeah I started Saturday and TOM came on Sunday! If you have to have an extra shake, soup or oatmeal than do. You'll be fine! Make sure your eating every 3 Hours! Hang tough! We can DO IT!
  • Thanks Nay...I didn't even think about that when I posted this until I told my friend I wanted something crunchy and salty!!! Yep potato chips...but I didn't cave and now that I at least have figured out it has to be TOM's doing. I really hate the oatmeal (any prep tips?) so maybe an extra shake...whats salty?? LOL
  • Don't forget you can have a snack of 2 pickle spears - they are salty!
  • LOL "Salty", not sure if they have any of that. What flavor oatmeal did you get? I found that if I cook it in the microwave for 1 minute stir it real good and then let it sit, it gets a little thicker and I like it that way. I've heard some people say you will grow to like whatever you don't like. I really don't believe that b/c I can't stand any of the soups. Did you get any soy crisps or crackers? Those probably have a little salty taste. Hope your doing better. Yes Pickles!!!!!!!!!!!!
