Books about Maintenance

Does anyone know a book that talks about and researches the theory that once you have hit your maintenance goal it takes three years for your body to truely get the fact that you are going to eat this way and not temp you to stress eat or overeat? Someone told me there is a theory out there and I wanted to read about it?

Never heard of it and don't believe it. I reached goal in 2007 and my body has given no indication that I have changed my eating habits permanently. It takes constant effort to stay at goal.

I too would be skeptical of any finding to this effect. I've been maintaining over a decade and still must pay close attention to input/output. I could easily disregard my regimen and eat too much of the healthiest of food and be way over goal by the end of the week.
