Schwarzbein Questions??
 

Hello! I'm going to start the Schwarzbein Prin. on Monday and had a few questions. I'm so used to Atkins and South Beach type of eating, trying to make the transition is hard!
First---Dr. S says avoid artificial sweeteners, does this include Splenda?? Since it's more like sugar?? Don't know!
Second---Is Atkins bake mix OK? I have a few good recipes that include it and wondered if it was still OK.

First of all, welcome to the 3FC Community!
I'm not on Dr S's plan but do have the book. I found it too "purist" and restrictive.
As Splenda is not a chemical but derived from sugar, it should be OK. I have no idea her opinion on Atkins mixes but know she'd be "agin" some of the stuff in there.
