Am I the first one here? I can't find a Friday thread so I've started this one.
Still feeling rotten with this cold and the meds have thrown me out of ketosis. Luckily I don't have an appetite anyhow.
Scale standing steady at 273, probably because I'm just sitting around feeling sorry for myself.

Just a quick hello since I've went MII (Missing In IN-action).

Doing better today and yesterday. Almost human, even. Back to healthy food and even a little exercise.

Sorry to hear that you're feeling poorly, Linda. Hope you get better fast.

Hi everyone........ wow! it IS late for a "good morning" post, isn't it? Sheesh!............ I've been on vacation (first one in a couple of years) - went down to sunny, WARM Florida, and came home to temps in teens w/wind chills around 0!!!! no no no no no no no - I wanna go back where it's warm!!!

I looks like there were problems w/the board while I was gone - I hope that our wonderful administrators haven't torn out too much of their hair trying to get us back up and running. They do so much for us, that I would really hate to see them have big bare (sore) spots on their heads :lol:

Anyhow, so far I am sticking with my "resolution" - the one that said from the minute we got off the plane back home in NY I would be right back on plan. All day yesterday and so far all day today I have been "good" - only problem is that I got called into the office for a couple of hours today and had nothing that I could bring for lunch, so I ordered 1/2 lb of chicken salad - BAD BAD BAD BAD......... I've been sick ever since and had to go home!!!! Something tells me that I won't end up eating enough food today, but just the thought of eating anything right now is enough to send me running back to "the facilities"......... ;)

Hope you all are keeping warm today and able to stick to plans - Linda, I hope you feel better real soon (one of these days I'm gonna get my bodyflex off the shelf and begin to work at it right along with you!!)

Qyuick pass through. We are just freezing here! The woodstove is roaring and we are cuddling warm furry dogs as much as we can. -47F wind chill last night! Lordy!
Very frustrating day as Kevin was to come and finish my bedroom closet but his truck was dead! So I live in chaos a bit longer. He may come tomorrow morning but I'm not counting on it.
I'm off down that cold and lonesome highway tonight for a rehearsal. I'll be taking extra warm clothes - just in case. (Hmmmm - maybe a Skor choclate bar in case there's an emergency?)

Way too late to start a morning or daily!! :lol: I do not dare start until after work or I would not get there. I coauld stay here for days at end if given a chance. Well given the chance I am hungry and need to eat. Must make dinner so Off I go.

A late hidy-ho from me today!

Went to Denist (for a long overdue cleaning) then the Crack-A-Back doc, then to pick up some work clothes at Macy's (EVERYTHING on sale - woohoo!). I start my new job on Monday and I'm panicing about what to wear all week long. I think I will have a long session with my closet/chest of drawers this afternoon/evening and see if I can put together quite a few decent outfits.

Today was a pretty good day, not as OP as I should have been, but not nearly as bad .as I COULD have been.

I think most come read what we missed from the last time we were here and that should include late entries on the dailies so I wouldn't worry about posting later than most.

Ruth - <sigh> - my friend was talking about taking me to get a dog just before I left for Florida... but I told her that I cannot go to a pet store for a dog - first of all, because they often have "puppy mill" dogs (and I think that they're criminal!), and second of all, because I want a Portie! Actually, I'm thinking about perhaps going to some of the (sort of local) spring shows and seeing if any of the breeders may have a female who won't be bred any more - I was told that that might be a way for me to get a good dog.........

Kel - congrats! I guess this means that you got the job you mentioned - the one with the private CPA? WTG!!!! (my kids always said that my CPA meant that I was a Certified Pain in the A$$!! I told them it meant Cleaning, Pressing & Alterations - even tho I definitely DON"T sew!! :dizzy: :lol: )

I almost always check in here late in the evening and I know all of you are in the land of Nod by then. Nice to see so many Chicks posting.
Barb, you really got me chuckling with your boob joke, especially after seeing the first part of Oprah today. She had on that woman from the Extreme Makeover show who had lost nearly 200 lb and had skin hanging loose all over her and her boobs were hanging flat down to her navel, I swear!! They sure fixed her up but I bet it hurt like ****. She looks like a million bucks now tho.

I also stop in and read so I do nto miss anything that went on later. I would hate to miss something that was important for whom posted. And that does mean congrats on the JOB!!! WHOO HOOO
