Deal me in please.
Weighed 217 on 11/1 and am shooting for 2 lbs per week which would take me to 200 for NYE!
Oh how WONDERFUL that would be!!!!!
I know 2# per week is a stretch - especially since I am stalled - but maybe with exercise I can boost that metabolism.

I seemed to be stalled but have started exercising regularly. Exercise is feast or famine with me.

Halloween was ahrd on me, in onederland for a whole 2 days. Start weight Nov 1 of 204. Would like to be 179 New year's Eve. That's 20 pounds in 2 months with couple of extras due to bad candy choices.

I will get back on my treadmill and avoid the kids pumpkins.

Dropped 2 pounds this past week. I keep being disappointed that I "only lost 2 pounds". What's up with that?
Great job on the excercize Supersized. I got Body Flex a couple of weeks ago, but can't seem to stay motivated to do it. It only takes about 15 minutes, so I don't know what my problem is. Maybe trying to get up a little earlier in the morning isn't the best plan. I should probably try to shoot for before dinner (Maybe while it's cooking?). I don't get home from work until 6:30 some evenings though. O.K. new plan, if I can't do it on an empty stomach like I'm supposed to, I'll just do it on a full one. There. Now what's my excuse?

Count me in, even though I didn't meet my goals for the last challenge. It makes me more determined to stick with it this time. My New Years goal is to lose 15lbs,,, current 168 this AM, so 153lbs.
Good luck all!

I'm confused on the L-carnitine thing. I'm taking 500 mg a day, but I read in the atkins book that 1500 is more effective. I don't want to OD or anything - does someone have input on this?

Thank you! My bottle says once a day - between meals. I'm upping my dose today!

Thanks, Karen! As usual, you're a lifesaver!

Hi everyone. I'm joining you all in your challenge. I certainly need one! I just started low carbing last Thurs. and I like it so far. I think I can stick to this WOE. Just eating less was not working for me. I'd love to be a normal weight by my 50th birthday at the end of March.

Welcome Sunshine!

Jen, all my bragging about starting to exercise killed me. I haven't exercised once since Friday morning. I felt rotten all weekend though and it was a 4 day one for me. I'll be back on track tomorrow morning though. Had thought about starting tonight but I'm donating blood this afternoon and they usually suggest taking it easy. All I need is a excuse to sit out on the exercise thing. I think Greer recommends doing the BF in the morning and before dinner in the second week.
