I can't believe it's 7:45 and I'm the first one here....unless I'm still have asleep and overlooked the daily!:tired:

This morning has already started off a bit rough with Michael (ds) making me cry, so, guess I'll take my depressed but back into the house and do day #4 of BF. It'll take my mind off of things.

Good Morning Mama J! I hope your day is going better now!! How did Body Flex go?

I still have my cold, but after calling around to several Colld Med Companies, I discovered that Theraflu Tablets have NO CARBS! So I took the night time one last night before bed and actually got some sleep! I feel much more clear headed today! Had my coffee and I am ready for my meeting at school! The kids School has a yearly Auction to help keep tuition down (Last years raised $140,000 for the school!!) Each class has to come up with a project to auction off. LAst year DS's class did Quilted squares that I crocheted together. Each square was original to the child, using their finger prints to create flowers and bugs and then a father penned using quill and ink the childs name. I used a vine type joining to put the squares togehter and then edged them with Forget-Me-Nots.

WELL, the good news is that the quilt sold for $850 at the auction. The Bad news is that his class room parents want me to do something similar again!! :) It was 60 hours of crochet time last year... which went toward my 30 hours a year I need to do.. but of course you cant bank those extra hours...LOL. So we shall see where it leads me this year...

Karen, that quilt sounds really nice, but sheesh that is alot of work for you. Keeps your hands busy though!!!

Janice, must be something about Michaels today. Mine is home from school today (don't ask) and doing chores the WHOLE entire day. I am so ticked off at him I made him scrub the toilets and floors and that is just for starters.

:wave: slept until 7:30 this morning and kind of lept into the day. I'm aff for a haircut right now with Tiny Perfect Danny! Danny looks like a wee leprechaun but you dasn't mention it to him!
Gorgeous day so I will walk the Girls later. BBQ steak tonight!

Hey! Where did the week go? I haven't even stopped by since Sunday or Monday.

Karen, I sure wish I was creative like that. (OR do I? It sounds like it might be a mixed blessing!) I don't seem to have much patience with that type of thing or much talent either. I've always admired people who can create beautiful things with their hands. What creativity I have is in music, but I haven't picked up my violin even briefly for over a year. Think I'll see if it still works this weekend :lol:
