Hello all.
Better late than never, right?

DD and I got up late this morning and so I didn't get online like I usually do before work. Did step on the scale again, though. My scale isn't a really good one. If you move your feet around on it, you can change the weight. I usually move around until I get it as high as it will go and call that my accurate weight. The cool thing is that when I initially stepped on it this morning, it was below 220! I'm not calling that my official weight, but it was pretty cool to see anyway. Haven't seen that since the diet I started in 1998! At that time I got down to 202 before I started back up again.

Anyway, I could ramble on this afternoon forever, so I'd better quit.

All the rain we missed out on in July and August has decided to descend upon us in one day, I think. It is pouring like crazy out there. Glad I don't have to go out in it.

Brad, good to see you back. I bet you lose that water weight very quickly.

I'm getting ready for a club gathering tomorrow which means baking something for coffee time and our bake auction as well as something for the pot luck luncheon. I'm the hostess for the meeting so I also have to type up an agenda and hope I don't forget to include something vital (such as the Mayor's address ;) ) That would be embarrassing.

I hope none of you Chickies are in the path of Isabel. She looks like a biggy. Stay safe.

Jennifer: Nah, we drove....and that's the entire reason why. I drank enough to keep from feeling totally thirsty, but I also didn't want to stop every 20 minutes on a 5+ hour drive. I did it to myself.

Tummy: Thanks...I make so many stops online every day, I have to try to remind myself to drop by here.

Linda: Thanks, too.... And I already did lose it, within the same week. Weighed Monday at 314.5, left Tuesday, came back Thurs, weighed Friday at 320+, weighed last night (Monday) at 314 even.

<<<<<<< That pic over there is of my big dog Scooter and I aquired him and his buddy, lil dog Ginger, from Dalmatian Rescue. I really think rescue is the only way to go since the organizations do health and temperment testing on all the dogs before putting them up for adoption so you know you are getting a quality animal.

Oh what a day! I went to work with not a lot on my plan today and ended up being soooooo busy! I would always rather be busy than sit around though and I got out and talked to kids! My favorite part of the job. I had a reassignment in my job this year and I want to make time with students a priority since I will be in schools more.

Thanks to those who answered my post the other day. I can't rmember who all did post, but a few of you mentioned the need to do some keeping track and I understand that and I do, just not as fomally and not on Fitday like I was. Already I feel more "normal", less tied down by food intake and haven't really changed my eating habits at all, still on program and feeling good, I guess I learned my limits and what I can and can not eat when I was keeping very good track of every bite. Now I feel like I can do this and not obsess about it. I think I will do one day a week on fitday just to keep in check.

I did start back to the Y yesterday and did 30 minutes on the bike and then tonight a bad cold hit me. I have had a sore throat a few days, but tonight the sinus pressure and congestion is killing me, so came home after dinner with my bf and put on my jammies and have just been lazy tonight. Going to hit the hay early too!

I wish Amy luck. That had to be a difficult decision, but I believe we all make decisions that are best for us, it is our way of making our way though our life.

Lily
