HI,
After looking at our checking account and the food we have in the cupboards, I decided we better eat what we have and wait to go to the store. Seems like one thing after another has hit us financially this summer. Anne, I remember how much it use to cost to get the kids ready for school, don't know how you do it.
We are also going to go camping in a few weeks. DH has another vacation coming up. We're going to paint the garage and get the gardens ready for winter, but then go to the campground at night. It will be a lot of work, but I hate to see summer come to an end without one last camping trip. That's the plan for now.
We've had no rain for a long time. They say this is the worst drought in record here. The sweet corn burnt up 3 weeks before it was suppose to be over. I've kept my tomatoes watered, but lots of people have lost theirs, since most people dont' water them after they are mature. I'm lucky, I have tons of tomatoes and will make some salsa this week with them.
Aleka, that must have been a powerful storm. Glad your cable is back on. Wish I could come to your house for breakfast, it sounds delicious.

Nikkic, you are so right about the expense. My grocery bill is
just terrible. Minimally $350.00 per week!!!\:fr: so I know
what you mean about finances:o

David did great on his first day of school we were truly amazed.
I hope it continues!!!

Dad is doing a little better but he is still very nervous. Aleka I
have a feeling if he goes on oxygen it would probably be as
he needs it.
