Hello Everyone!!:wave:

All in all a pretty good day. I am always thrilled to see labour
day weekend arrive so we can get the family back to regular
schedule and get ready for school and my personal favorite
season autumn:dance:

I am on vacation now until September 8. This will give me
time to get the family organized and for me to clean the
house real good after summer vacation!!

I will be visiting the Canadian National Exhibition on Sunday
with my younger sister and two of my sons Sean & James.
We always have a few treats. We love tiny tom donuts straight off the conveyor belt and ice cream waffles (oh boy!!:T )

I am still doing my body flex twice daily and I can't speak
highly enough about it. Greer should hire me for her
infomercial (just kiddin)

I can't believe it's Labor Day weekend already. Where did the summer go?:?: Because we live in a summer area we won't be straying very far from home. The influx should be arriving sometime later this afternoon.

ANNE, Autumn is my favorite time of year too. I love the autumn colors, the air, I just can't say enough good things about it! My eating hasn't been all that great during the summer...I seemed to eat an awful lot of fried clams.:T I justified that by saying to myself I only eat them in the summer, which is true. The restaurant we go to is closing Sun. until next spring. After Monday I can get serious again about dieting. I am looking for a good eating plan that I can stick with, but so far I've come up short. I am toying with the SB Diet, starting with Phase 2 instead of Phase 1, going back to WW to try their new flexpoints, or just watch my portions, make sensible choices, and exercise. So far the latter one is winning out. We'll see.

I did PM nikki so hopefully she'll join in.

Missed you both and I'm doing better now. I will PM you about what is going on now, but since we are camping, I have just a little time to do my computer stuff. Anyway, I'm ok now.

Aleka, have you read the new Curves book? I bought it at Walmart, since I buy all new diet books. It starts with a low carb diet for 2 weeks (20 carbs) and increases to 40 or more after that. Well, if you fit into carb addict category. Otherwise, if you have to follow a low calorie diet they have that in there too. It is kind of interesting and I might try that after we get back from camping. I need to look at the book again, I just kind of glanced through it.

Anne, this weather has been aweful. Did your dad get a Drs appointment yet? He is under a lot of stress and that always is hard on a person. This humidity and high temps doesn't help.

Hope you both enjoy your weekend. We have a fantastic camping spot this time. Even though the park is full, we are far enough from the other campers that it's not too noisey to sleep. We should finally be getting some temps in the 70's after today. Before, it was in the 100's everyday and one day 107. Got to get going, will write again soon, Nikki

I have been running around like crazy all morning, shopping,
buying underwear, socks, school supplies getting ready for
the big day Tuesday>

Nikkic, the docter was not in the office yesterday so my dad
is calling again today. We are all really worried. He has lost
so much weight and his appetite is dreadful:?: Hopefully the
doctor will be able to advise him and us......

Aleka, we are under a severe thunderstorm watch:eek: The
air is so hot and humid you could cut it with a knife. A cold
front will be moving through and our temperatures will drop
last this afternoon.

Sunday is looking like it is going to be very comfortable for our
vist to "The Ex". The air show is on as well. Thats always good
for scaring the heck out of me!!:o

Hope you both are enjoying your long holiday weekend. I am glad that we are together again.

ANNE, did you get any severe thunderstorms? We didn't get anything, just a few drops of rain. The weather is so nice now, getting into the 70's. A very nice change. How is your Dad doing. Hope he's doing better.

nikki, I do have the Curves diet book, and of course have put it away and have done nothing about it. I took the test and I am somewhere in the middle of being carb sensitive and calorie sensitive. Hope you're having a good time camping. Is it still miserably hot where you are? I've gotten the South Beach Diet book out and on Tues. I am going to start doing that, I will skip Phase 1 and start with Phase 2.
