ONEDERLAND ELUDES ME...
"Officially" back to 200.4 (altho yesterday scale did read 199.4??) What gives? This is driving me nutso ...just in time for PMS next week...oh goodie, something to look forward to!
Monday:
Breakfast:
chocolate mock danish (added 1 tsp of cocoa..yum) (4.5)
decaf w/cream (1.5)
=6
Lunch:
spinach salad (2)
caesar dressing (1)
roast chicken tossed in (0)
=3
3 pm Snack:
diet soft drink (1)
2 slices cheddar (.6)
=1.6
Dinner:
strip loin steak
mushrooms/onion (2)
1 c cauliflower w/grated cheese (3.5)
tea w/splenda & cream (1.5)
=7
Total: 17.6
So if I'm back to 199.4 tomorrow can I count that as my "official weigh in"??? (as I begin to gain a few lbs prior to TOM next week? ) (My luck I'll be up another lb instead of down!)
Oh ya...had a handful of SF jelly bellies that a friend had given me (had them in my desk)...will I ever learn that the maltitol monster is NOT MY FRIEND...I have been having stomach/gas pains all evening! When will I ever learn!

Today was good so far -
B scrambled eggs and breakfast meatballs
L Salad with ranch, bacon, almonds, deli turkey, cucumbers, mmm
D I haven't eaten it yet, and I won't tempt you with telling...
I finally lost the 10th pound. Every 5 pounds I get carbs. So, tonight we are going to eat Chinese. That is all I am saying! Back to it in the morning. I can handle this as long as I know I get carbs in 5 more pounds...
Froufy, I have a recipe for a mock danish like yours that I think is peanut butter chocolate...I will look for it and post it in recipes!
Yes, you count that 199.4! You go girl!!!

Tuesday's Plan
Okay...first two times I got on (before my shower) scale read 199.8....third time after my shower it said 200....but I figure that was the water weight...you know all those droplets....and wet hair weighs a ton (even tho mine is fairly short! )...anyhow I am counting the 199.8...and moving forward (or should I say downward?).
Breakfast:
flax-o-meal cereal (2)
sugar sub (.5)
decaf w/cream (2)
=4.5
Lunch:
small can tuna -3 oz (0)
salad (3)
dressing (1)
=4
Snack:
1 slice cheddar (.3)
diet cream soda (1)
=1.3
Dinner??? no plans yet.....
So far 9.8...which gives me room to play with...I am craving fish/seafood today...very weird! May have to pick up some salmon on the way home! I have some shrimp skewer things in the freezer - might make a good appetizer, very lc
Too bad about the short celery sticks...thought we were onto something there....mutant celery!

Hey Meowna,
If you know the size can and the ingredients you have used you can go onto Fitday and figure it out....even create a "custom food" so you don't have to do this each time you eat them.
If you only used eggs, parmesan cheese and salmon..it should be pretty easy. If you used the protein powder I guess you will have to use the info on the product?
Good luck!

I made the decision to start again today without some of the more questionable items (aspartame, low-carb shakes and bars). I still have some nitrites in there, but that's pretty hard to avoid around here.
B: Vienna sausages (0)
(Thankfully, I like them...so it's easy for me to live off them if I had to)
S: Forgot to take my vitamins in the morning, so grabbed a cheese stick (1)
L: Luby's:
Baked white fish ( max 2 due to spices and sparing use of their unsweetened tartar sauce)
Mixed vegetables (2)
Small salad (2)
Salad dressing (2)
D: Kielbasa sausages (3)
Home-made horseradish sauce to dip them in (1)
Salad (2)
Salad dressing (2)
Total: Around 17. Then again, due to eating out, I don't have really exact counts, but I do tend to count the max for each. I likely hit closer to 12-13 carbs today
Yes, yes, yes...I'll eventually get motivated enough to battle FitDay and start entering the dozens and dozens of custom entries. Someday. At this rate, though, I'll probably be plucking feathers from my bacon before I get around to it.
I did get out to a Sun Harvest (mostly organic foods grocery store) tonight. I took along one of the better low-carb cookbooks I had bought recently. It has a good section in the front going ingredient by ingredient, pointing out the 'low-carb highlights'. I used this to buy a few odds and handle recipes in the book. I now have a bunch of soy flour, soy powder, wheat bran, etc, etc. I found flax meal, but not a prepared flax-o-meal, so I'll be trying to find something to do with it as well.
I'll probably pick up more on that in another thread...

Wednesday
Well I'm going to have a weird schedule today so this is going to be a challenge, I'm working 11pm to 7am UGH! and even worse I'm up at 9am, does not bode well for this evening, I think a nap may be in order.
I'll probably eat quite a bit today becuase I'm going to be awake nearly 20 hours, oh the horror!
So it may be at odd times but here goes...
Meal 1
coffee with splenda
3 slices of turkey bacon
(4)
Meal 2
1 chicken patty (finally figured out how to make them good and not fall apart)
1 cup lettuce with 1 tbsp ranch dressing
(1)
Meal 3
1 4 oz steak with jerk sauce
1 cup mushrooms
1 cup lettuce with ranch dressing
(6)
Ratio:64F/4C/32P
Total: (11)
Almost got lazy today and didn't want to check grams or ratios but not gonna give in to the lazies yet!
