Robin, I was checking too, it's gotta be here somewhere.
Good news today chickies, 202, 2 pounds till the illusive 199 baby! I believe I may rent a plane and sky write it when I get there. Another scorching hot day ahead but it's gonna be grand and OP for sure, haven't had even a minor slip since the frozen yogurt/pizza/wine incident on Sunday. Only one bobble in 4 weeks, this program is truly amazing.
I kept looking and thinking.....it's after 8:00, I know someone already has the coffee on!
WTG Tummy!! You'll be in Onderland in no time!!!
Robin ~ I haven't checked yet, did you ever post your salmon patty recipe? I love them but the family is iffy. Maybe a new recipe would get them!
Another busy day here. I've been up since 5, did ice house paperwork, took waitress to work, got set up w/munchies for the postal crowd that comes in at 6:15, ran for quarters, ran back some permits that had to be posted and wrote up an ad to put in the paper! Whew! Listening to a jukebox blaring at 6:30 in the morning was a shock to my system!
It is me DonDar and I am back again. It has been a very busy summer being at home with the boys. My dh and my two boys are a cub scout camp this week. So I have some breathing time. My job officially ended last week. I had 60 days to try to find a job and I had no luck. Oh well I guess I will greatfully accept the position of SAHM!
Well I need to shed some nasty pounds, and the best medicine for that begins with a daily dose of 3fc!
I think I am starting to get that energy that everyone is talking about!
BUT I am a little concerned. I got on the scale today and I says I am up .5 pound. Now granted TOM is due and I noticed this morning I am feeling a bit... how to say this delicately.. oh heck, constipated. I did take some psyllim Husks yesterday and today so I am hoping that will help get things moving. Also my callorie and carb intake fluctuate each day! One day I am below 10 carbs and have about 1300 calories, another day I get to under 1900 cals and 16 carbs. I also added avacado to the mix the last couple of days, I am wondering if I should take them out again? Just 1/2 of one each day!
Tummy Girl - Great job! I'll be rooting for you to get to that magic number under 200... it is the best feeling!
Robin - I'll be looking for that recipe as soon as I finish this post!
Janice - WOW! You did all that already! I am impressed!
Well, I am off..my DD best friend is coming over to play today!
I'm off and running to make my 3 pm deadline today. I take Lucy The Devil Dpg to the kennel and then go on to Ottawa. I'll visit a friend, check in to the Airport Days Inn and try to sleep. My plane leaves early tomorrow morning. I'll wave as I fly over this huge country. Watch for me, my fellow (and gal) Canadians!
I'll try to check in during the week but no promises.
- It's been busy here as usual, I haven't even been lurking, but wanted to drop a line.
I just got back my grades for my first term back in school - I made 3-A's and 1-B. (The B was in Biology - so I was happy even with a B). Not too shabby for a science-phobia.
Nothing happening on the diet front - I've just given up on myself, I'm think. Maybe God really does want me to weight 166 for the rest of my life? Who am I to agrue?
Don't worry, Chickies. Ruth will be posting to you from my house sometime tomorrow. She won't be able to resist.
I'm really looking forward to her visit although it will be way too short for my taste. This gal is really, really funny.
Tummy Girl, where in Western Canada do you live? Anywhere near me...just outside Vancouver?
I put in three hours of gardening this morning, trying to get the garden in shape to pass Ruth's inspection. She told me to leave her some weeds and I'm only too happy to oblige. Now, I have to try to get my house in order but I'm afraid that although the spirit is willing, the flesh is weak...meaning I'm too damned lazy and pooped to do more than a quick vacuuming and dusting. She won't care anyhow.
My SIL is coming for dinner tonight as he is dropping off #1 daughter at a spa out our way. I gave her a gift certificate for Christmas for a 3 hour session and she's using it tonight. TOmorrow is their anniversary and they're going out on one of the Vancouver harbor dinner tours to watch the fireworks competition. Isn't that romantic? Anyhow, I haven't a clue what to serve SIL for dinner OR what I'll do with him for three hours. He's a nice enough guy but we're not really very close.
