which diet to do?
i have lost 40 lbs doing LF & Phenturimine ( I know, I know). Now I have stalled.....for 6 weeks!!!!! I don't know whether to change and do LC or just tough it out and keep doing what I'm doing. My dr. says to up my meds, but i am thinking a change of diet would be better. As it stands, I have stopped the phenturimine to try to rid my system, and start all over again. I was thinking maybe a 48 hour Slimfast Fast (3 slimfast + water only for 2 days), and start low~carb for 2 week induction and THEN start phenturimine again. any thoughts on this?

Why do Slimfast? It is mostly carbs! I'd suggest go low carb and forget upping or even taking the drugs! You didn't need drugs to gain, did you?

I agree the slim fast ifyou want to do low carb is not the thing to get your body in the right frame of mind. it also will lower your caloric intake and stimulatte your body to think starvation. eat and enjoy your food but if you want to eat low carb just jume in and do it. there is no day like today!!! drop the drugs atleast for now. and give this a try!!!

I have to agree about the Slim Fast. I had been doing SF for some time and lost some weight...not much. I ended up having a fainting spell went to see the DR and he suggested changing my diet plan. Would you believe he suggested a Low Carb diet above all. I have just started my own low carb diet this past weekend and from Saturday of last week to this morning I have dropped 4 lbs. Slim Fast is high in sugar and is not good to go from one end of the spectrum just to go over to the other after just a few days might as well do it right from the start!
Sue...I saw your post here and I had to speak up only since I had my own issues with SF. Anyway I hope to see your posts soon. Take care all. Hugs & Smiles, Kina |
