ok ladies... you are such fabulous friends!!!

bottom line: they want me! they're creating a position for me as part of an expansion of their services. they are tailoring it for ME!!!!

OK. now the details. and remember, most of these people haven't seen me since way before the surgery. this is the company where i worked when i went on disability and had the extended unfortunate hospital incarceration.

SOOOOO. many double takes, lot of shock, but hugs and kisses from EVERYONE!!! it was so nice. and simon, the VP who actually runs the place and makes all the decisions, came up from behind me, put his arm around my shoulder, gave me a kiss on the cheek and said 'hi sweetie. you look great!!!'

he's planning to have his MASTER PLAN done by the end of next week, and has to have it all approved by the board of directors. and tehn they're moving, so we agreed that i probably won't come on before july.

so, that's the story!!!

and ya know.. i have GREAT friends. one of them, kathy, does hair., a fabulous colorist. she canceled her other appointments today for me, and trimmed me up, got rid of the grey, did the makeup. and then we went out for a very quick lunch.

so what did i wear???? hey, even i admit i looked great!!!

Pearl grey linen pants suit with capri pants and a mandarin collar jacket with little frog closures. white scoop neck silky shell underneath. and coral red multistrand beaded choker, with matching silver hoops with the coral red stones. and red lipstick.

and ruth, thank you for finding taz... you're a great detective!!!
