Actually I am attending a seminar today given by Mary Sheedy Kurcinka, an author who wrote the book"Raising Your Spirited Child". M is DEFINITELY in this category. I hooked up with another mom at the drop in and she is picking us up, dropping the kids off at her sister's place and off we go to the seminar!

On a different note, dh comes home tonight and the "While You Were Out" team has been busy (read: me). I have the peel and stick tile down, and oh my goodness, doesn't it look about a thousand percent better or what? Doing the happy dance :cb: :cb:

Kindergarten is having a square dance performance this morning. Short and sweet, so I will stay at that this morning before I head back home. We have a "lad" coming to take a few trees out today. A good stiff wind, and they look like the house could be in big trouble!

I am going to go see my new Niece next weekend! I got the moon and stars to align so that I could eek out the weekend for myself! What a thought.

I do have to say, my DH is on my good list. I have had such a hard time sleeping lately, when he came home last night and I was still awake he rubbed my back until I fell asleep! What a sweetie! Payback I sure is a b*itch but it it was still sweet.

Off to take the trash out and then to school.

Up early to take DS to school-going into work late the babysitter has a dental appointment....seems she could schedule these on her Tue and Th mornings off but how silly of me to suggest it..... :mad:

No big plans for the weekend DD has a bad cold and is supposed to dance in a performance tommorrow outdoors - we shall see it is supposed to rain...and of course ds has soccer. need to do some things around here...... :dizzy:

Kindergarten square dancing! I love it! I do miss little kids - in small doses. Glad you are getting away L144S - sometimes the stars do align properly.

Pooky - enjoy the seminar, not just as a day "off" from motherhood, but as a brain stretching time.

Well, I ended uip gping to the Fair Board Meeting last night after all. Sorry! Can't help it! It's the way I was brought up. After more than five years, I still hear my Dad's voice in my head talking about responsibility and committment. Enough already.

Today I work another Bingo - a nooner which sure beats an evening one where I get home at 1 a.m. One a month in the daytime is not so bad and does earn money for charities.

However, I am going to try to take tomorrow as a ME day - no community service, just stuff I want to do. If the weather cooperates I'll clean up my front perennial bed because the snow is FINALLY gone. I may have daffies in bloom along the lane today. Some of the new tulips at the Church are starting to show colour. When we have full bloomage, I'll be sure to post pictures.

Well here we are at a Friday and a Payday to boot!

I am VERY tired today. Did well again on Atkins and the almonds and SF chocloate from yestarday did not seem to affect my Keytones at all. The scale is not being kind however. I hate that I am such a slow loser!

DH has been making omlettes in the morning. YUM!

This Sat my DB's Girlfriend is having some of her photographs displayed in a gallery in Manhattan. Very big to do. Me, my DH and Mom are going to go in for the Artists Reception. Sun we will spend in the garden! My daffies are in full bloom and I should probably have Tulips my Monday. There was a danger of a killing frost last night, but thank goodness it did not hit my yard!

Hello!

Well I just came in from cleaning up the yard-and raking half of it, there was grass everywhere! Can you guys believe I did physical activity before noon? Very exhausting! I will really need my nap today!

Gina Marie--I know I'm being very dumb here but what does DB stand for? Your talking about DB's girlfriend--I cannot for the life of me figure that one out......I know I will kick myself when you tell me.....thanks!

Well, I cannot believe it but my in-law's are taking the girls tonight, and then my parents are taking them tomorrow night. No big plans have been made, we are going to supper tomorrow night with a group but that is it.\
