Jello Instant Sugar Free Pudding Question
 

Does anybody know how the carbs work in sugar free instant pudding? It has 25 calories, no fat, no sugar, yet shows 6 grams of carbs. Not sure where they come from.....those numbers come from the "as packaged"....column.

They are probably from cornstarch or another carb filler although some of them will be from the milk used.

I don't know about the pudding, but at the office we have SF hot chocolate, and the carbs come from lactose, or milk sugar. I read some theory that if you heat up the milk sugars it's harder for your body to use them, therefore they are "eliminated"?? I think it was when I was reading up on yeast overgrowth. Anyway, it's not going to stop me from enjoying this cuppa hot chocolate that I just made for "research". LOL
