Help!!!
Hi all,
Well ive been on induction for 16 days and actually Im feeling pretty good. I have fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue Syndrome and have had several neck surgeries. On Monday, I went to my pain doc to get off of the Percocet I take and take something better for my pain. With the Percocet I had to take so many pills throughout the day and now i am on Oxcontin and it is helping my pain better but........now I have constipation. I didnt have any on the Percocet even with Atkins. Im not sure what to do or what I can take being on this WOE. I dont want to take anything that is going to mess with my carbs or anything. The scale hasnt moved in over a week but i can tell a difference in my clothing and Im feeling better so therefore i am happy. I plan on staying in induction only because I can lose control if I start upping carbs then i will be back ot binging on sugar. Any suggestions? Hugs Donna |
Ask at your health food store for something called Internal Flush (or something similar). It contains Psyllium Seed Powder, Flaxseed Powder, Cascara Sagrada Bark Powder, Rhubarb Root Powder and Goldenseal Root Powder, all natural laxatives. Start with the minimum recommended dosage, 3 tablets with 8 oz water at bedtime. This works for me when I get sluggish.
