Any Schwarzbeiners out there?

 Hi all! I'm new to this board though I've been low-carbing for several years. I've done Atkins, (missed my fruits and veggies too much), Suzanne Somers, (actually gained weight), and the Schwarzbein Principle, (I think of it as my bible for good health). This is my third time following the Schwarzbein Principle and I am determined to make it a way of life, as it was meant to be. Last year I was on it for four months and hadn't felt that great :strong: since I was a teenager. I am hoping to find some friends :grouphug: with whom I can share thoughts, support and recipes, and perhaps a Schwarzbein buddy :high: who is familiar with this particular plan. I am looking forward to reading any responses. :hyper: Thanks!

Hey, anybody from Orlando is a friend of mine. and hint hint!

Seriously I am between Schwartzbein and Bernstein at the moment - I have to get this blood glucose level under control and then worry about weight.

Whoops! Got so excited about Orlando, I forgot to welcome you to the LC LIfestyle site. It's a great place with a variety of chicks on different plans but everyone is supportive as heck!

Hi. I'm new to the boards. I'm just starting the Schwarzbein Principle too. I've read both of her books and like what she says. I believe in the lc WOE and I like her idea of balancing meals. I have PCOS and insulin resistance and I'm also in perimenopause so I figure now is the time to take cantrol of my health. Everyone here seems very supportive and committed. I'm sure we'll meet our goals Thera!

Hi Jenni and welcome to the Low Carb Forum.

I am Type II Diabetic (insulin resistant) and probably had PCOS too in my long ago youth. From what I've been reading, LC is the solution to both these conditions.
