metallic taste
 

Hi all,

Hope everyone is doin ok. Does anyone experience a bad metallic taste in their mouth that goes on for ages. Ive had it for a couple of days now although I have drastically upped my water intake to 3 plus litres a day it won't go away. My breath does not smell (I have asked Hubby a few times) so its just the taste. The plan is going great and I am taking all my vitamins and minerals.

Any advice appreciated.

Sounds like it might be ketosis. When I am in ketosis, my mouth feels like I've just coated the inside with heavy cream.

Aaah, dragon breath! Unfortunately, we can't do much except lots of brushing and sugar free mints to help us out. :)

drink drink drink. if you up your carbs just a bit to bring your self not so deep into ketosis then that will also cut the dragon breath, but best to just take stock of tic tacs
