A New Year's Miracle!

ROSIE HAS BEEN FOUND!!!!

My uncle's neighbour found her wandering his yard this miring and picked her up and took her to the vet behind my uncle's place. She is much thinner, hungry, and tired but very much alive! My Grandma got the message from my aunt and took off running for the vet. Now Rosie will get all the cuddles and snuggles from her Grandma before Mommy shows up tomorrow to bring her home. We are hving a littel celebration tonight--my left over birthday cake--just the thing I wished for before I blew out the candles!

MANY, MANY thanks to all of you wonderful, spiritual, prayerful chicks. Once agin, the miracle and power of prayer wins out!

Doing the happy  :bravo: :cb:  :cloud9: :hyper: :balloons:

Boy will Rosie have stories for you. The first thing she will want to know is, "How did you get lost"?
Next thing we will find out is that someone is expecting a baby!

Thank you God.:)

You can barely imagine how I felt! Oh, Pooky - I am hugging my Lucy and crying! Somehow I knew it would happen! But, mixed in were the terrible thoughts.

I just woke up Harry. After "Who is Lucy?" he said"Great! Those Chicks have power!"

Sleep well tonight!

This morning: Duh! He said "who is Rosie? of course

Yahoo!!!!

Just wanted to pop in and say how happy I am that Rosie is found!!!!! Wow!!! I know she will be happy to get back to her family and to her own bed and toys. I'm sure relief doesn't explain what you are feeling.

Being owned by three Jack Russells, I can't imagine my life without them. They are my heart and soul and what keep me up and going.

Congratulations again!!!! Hug that furbaby for us all!

Well, I have traveled the roads today let me tell you! Thanks for your warm wishes, I got an equally wiggly and slobbery one when I walked into my Gran's house. :D She was soooooo skinny, dirty and hungry but very happy to be home. I took her to the same vet that my gran picked her up at last night and we gave her a good physical, shots, de-worm and a bunch of meds in case she ran into anything. She has to go back in a month to get her second round of shots and rabies vaccination. The vet told me that it wasn't my aunt's neighbour that found her, it was HER neighbour! Did I mention that she has 100 acres that back onto my uncle's 15 acres? She somehow managed to survive and travel 115 acres! The vet also told me Rosie truly had an angel watching over her since the whole area is infested with coyotes and they are brazen too! She told me she lives just next door to the clinic and she got her dh to come and get her becasue the coyotes were within 500 feet across the street last night! Hearing that made me feel like the luckiest person alive to see Rosie again.

This time, we are getting her microchipped and I am going to Canadian Tire later to get a chain to run on the clothesline outside. In the spring we are seriously considering a fence! Dh is managing to swallow the vet bill ($170) but hey, worth every penny!

Rosie is happy to be home, fed, watered, fully cleaned and brushed and starting to feel like her old self again. Can't wait for Miree to come home from daycare to see her!

Once again, THANK-YOU everyone! :D :D :D
