RE; New & need help,Please

Well I uped my protein like you suggested and it knocked me right out of ketosis? So maybe i need to stick with the higher fat then protein :?: As long as i'm in ketosis i'm losing right?

but did you lower your fat intake as well? I dont use the ketosis sticks very much at all.....they can make me just as nuts as the scale. If your drinking all the water you are suppose to be, you will not see alot of colour change on the sticks. Especially if you are testing yourself after a big glass of water.

Go with the way your feeling and how your clothes are fitting.

Dont get discouraged, your doing good

I would not worry about getting out of ketosis so much as decreasing the amount of protein. check your intake by fit day and see where your calories are comming in be sure to take in atlease 60 - 90 grams of protein

ummm sue.. did you have too much birthday cake??? didn't you mean to say INCREASE the protein insteadc of DECREASE the protein???

and how WAS the birthday cake??? chocolate i hope????

What i did mean but it did not come out was to NOT cut the protein in hopes of decreasing the fat. but thanks jiff i did not read that right before is hit send. Many people fear coming out of ketosis more than the fear of decreasing your intake to a point below your basal metabolic rate of coloric need. (and yes it was chocolate frosting but not home made!)
