I lied yesterday about my day's plan, I guess, as I spent most of the day sleeping! I've been trying to cut back on the heavy drugs but finally caved in. Needless to say, nothing got done around here. Lucy had her pal Austin over for a run in the yard so that took the place of a walk - except I didn't get one.
When Gail is here this morning, I'll run errands. I need to take my new winter boots back to Sears. I ordered the usual kind and size from the catalogue but didn't try them on until this weekend when we got substantial snow. Between my sore shoulder and my screwed up wrists, I can't pull the darn things on!
I guess I need the kind with a zipper. The way things are going, I won't be able to get away with gardening clogs much longer. Too bad "somebody" ate my duckie boots. We really must get some groceries. I read everyone's posts about leftovers and drool. Our fridge looks like it needs a visit from the Food Bank folks! I have one zucchini and about 8 baby carrots! Harry did a bit of shopping while I was laid up but pork and beans and sardines don't really count as veggies. I may work in a shop today if the roads aren't too bad.
It's very cold up here so I'd better go downstairs and turn up the furnace. That means Lucy will be up and the day will officially start. It's hard to be cold, crabby and grumpy when a PWD is bouncing into the air and wagging her tail in circles!

Have a good monday - coffee will be ready in 10 minutes along with crispy bacon and creamy scrambled eggs - we're not completely out of food!

. Back to the mall today early for a few returns and a swap to turtle necks too big for little man. i bought M and L and should have gotten M and S. Maybe to the b ookstore too to spend some gift book credit while sales are still going.
Why do they have to grow up so quickly????

Time to try something else...like eating less maybe? Who was it said "What a concept", just the other day on this board? I plan to stay strictly low carb and cut out the whipped cream and NUTS. Nuts to nuts, I say. They stall me. Of course, if I could stop with a handful, I'd probably do fine.
