About images/smilies etc

This probably doesn't belong on this forum, I probably should post it elswhere, but I'm gonna ask anyhow since you chickies are all so darn smart!!!

We've got some wonderful new smilies added to the board lately - BUT, wheneve I try to use more than 3 or 4 in one post, together with bolding and/or color...... I get a message about too many images..... which, it also tells me, includes code!!!! <GRRRRRR>

This is evidently why I keep on losing posts....... does anyone know the "limits" of what we can use? Is there any way the "limit" can be raised? I keep on writing these looooong answers to you guys, only to lose them. I write them again, and lose them again....... then I just finally get so frustrated I give up!!!

Is there an answer to this burning question????? Why has the "Master/Mistress" given us all of these wonderful things to have if we are not allowed to use them???:?:

Well, you just can't use them all at once! It's kind of like eating just a few Cheesies at a time! Too many smilies (more than 8?) slows down the server, I think.

If you are afraid of losing a [post, highlight it, do CNTRL + C and you will have a copy. Then start another post if it gets lost and do CNTRL + V and your post will be back. Just remove a few smilies and you'll be in business.

Thanks Ruth..... I'll give it a try...... but I still think it's mean not to let us use lots and lots and lots!!! :(
