Liz, my boys normally attend summer school to provide them with some addtional reading needs. This year the state of Michigan cut the funds for these programs. They both need a little extra work. We also purchased a summer study program that is a workbook and computer games that are fun, interesting, and they are learning at the same time. They also read and do flash cards. They have all afternoon to play. I actually think the studying helps keep them from getting bored.

It's been a wet day here. Sun was shining and it was 99 degrees and all of a sudden, the bottom fell out, and then the roads flooded and it's just a mess. Ugh, glad I'm staying home tonight! Went and got a couple more pieces of clothes this afternoon, I hate to buy them when I'M SURE I'M GOING TO LOSE WEIGHT SOON but I really needed them for work. Hate for people to laugh at me in my rags!!:o Anyway, it's clearance stuff so it's not too bad. Besides, I owed myself a reward for my 1 month smoke-free anniversary, about 5 days ago~~I had to wait for payday!! Ya'll have a good evening, I'm going to hunt down some dinner! |

Hello everyone!
My internet was down for 5 days! Grrrrrrrr... I have never ending problems with Cogeco cable service. I hope the high speed internet comes to our area soon so I can switch!:mad: :devil: Big weekend planned--my brother. SIL and my baby nephew are coing for a visit. Should be a lot of fun since they haven't been here since we moved in here! Weight loss is going well, another 3 pounds down after the whoosh fairy came to visit after TOM. Very pleased with it. I am also eating smaller meals and drinking a lot more water as well so I think it helped a lot. If I'm not in this weekend, just know I'm thinking of ya all! :) Now to go catrch up on a week's worth of posts! |

No stupidity at all Good! How would ya know if you didn't ask? The Whoosh Fairy is a beautiful princess fairy who comes after your TOM to remove even more weight from your body. She takes away not only your menses, but your retained water after you're all done. She is a kind and much sought after fairy however she only visits those special and good girls that follow thier programs. She helps us feel special that we hove lost even more weight! :) You must always speak kindly and generously of the Whoosh Fairy since she gives us such large losses (usually 3-5 pounds) after TOM! So now you know--I'm hoping that the whoosh fairy will see me every month!:lol:
