your support has really kept me going. how could i disappoint you??

and speaking of support, just got back from the support group meeting, at which i DID NOT start the insurrection. i PARTICIPATED, but did not INSTIGATE.

no matter what you might hear!!!

as a group, we're so disgusted with the 'group leaders' who are two very very thin women who have never had a weight problem. the dietician is the worst, and even the surgeons and their nurses who have had the surgery have no respect for her.

and so, we're rebelling...

i'm still just slightly ahead of marc, who had his surgery just 2 hours after mine. he's lost about 97, and i told him he'll NEVER catch up!!!

and got a kiss from the surgeon.

thank you all. from the bottom of my [so much healthier] heart.

and peachie... you never were a great speller!!! but you're cute.

debkay.. maybe in the fall?? not real happy with hotlanta in the summer.... unless, of course, it's in a pool

now about the watch. i bought it on sunday, but peachie said i couldn't wear it until i had a NUMBER> i ignored her.

it's a bulova. on sale. and i didn't even spend as much as i had planned on!!!!! a silver and gold-plated bracelet-style band, in a kind of art deco swirl. and the larger pieces of the link [the kind of swirly fleur di lis shape] is a brushed silver, so it's a matte finish. and the gold connectors and accents are shiny.

the face is oval, and it has dashes all around the face. no numbers, but at least it's not completely blank. and it's beautiful. and i love it. and it really means something special to me.

Jiffy, this is great! I am so happy for you! I know that must feel awesome to see those numbers fly by.

What was your starting weight? A friend of mine from work is hoping to have surgery at the end of August and he would love a success story for a pep talk. At this point he still doesn't know too much about the procedure or what to expect.

This is unbelieveable!!! You must feel so great!!! I cannot imagine losing 108 lbs since January! wow! How in the world does it come off some fast???

So do we get to see before and after pics at some point???
