Hi all,
I didn't mean to trick anyone in to reading this....it is about walking! I promise!
I mentioned in one of my posts a while back that I was going to do the Avon 3Day for breast cancer walk. It is a 60 mile, 3 day journey. I am working hard! My miles are moving along (althought slower then some of my smaller walking friends) but I'm getting there!
I have met a wonderful group of ladies on another board (BigGirlsWalking) and really enjoying getting ready!
Here is of course where I need help....we were told to use ANY resourse we have for sponsors! So here I am!!
Ladies this is for an amazing cause. It gives money to lower income women that might not otherwise be able to have a mammogram, and they are able to have early detection, possibly saving their lives! It also goes toward the cure. So not only is it saving lives NOW, but helping to save them in the future!
Yes, this is my looong winded way of asking for money! Please, PLEASE don't discount your help, even if you can only give $5.00 your $5.00 with several others, WILL save a womens life!!!
Remember, this year alone, over 40,800 women will die from this disease! Only 20% of those women had a genetic disposition for the disease!! Your chance of knowing one of these women is OVER 99%!!
