  • How about using some beef boullion and some tomatoes, cooked down, it wouldn't be thick like regular gravy, but would keep it moist, which is what I think you are looking for. You could add some onion, Worscester sauce? If you put a little tiny bit of artificial sweetener it would be like that tangy kind of sauce sort of sweet and sour?

Wait, I just found a Stroganoff recipes in the Schwartzbein Principle:

Melt 1 1/2 T butter in a pan. Add 1 T. flour and whisk together, add 1 cup hot beef stock and wisk until well blended and thickened. Sit in 2 teasp. Dijon mustard, and 1 cup sour cream, you put this over meat. (you can't simmer the sour cream).

Beef stock and heavy cream? You cant' boil cream, but you could add it at the end.

Can you tell I am bored today? It's really cold and windy out, I went out shopping and came home in 1/2 hour, going to just stay home!
