OK Chicks!

I've read all the posts, seen the damage you've all done to yourselves (me included!!) and it's time to take charge of our lives again!!!

Today we will have courage to begin our respective programs anew--toss those goodies lying around, you know the ones, the ones that will never get eaten except by YOU! Take a good hard look at your cupboards and refrigerators--are there any carb laden entrees or leftovers in there? get rid of them! That's right--in the garbage they go!!! Have any goodie stashes anywhere?? You know the ones, near the computer, in the end table by the couch in front of the TV, in your desk--ferret them all out and get rid of them!!!!

Now that you have cleaned out the carbs, time to clean out our bodies--WATER!!!! Go right now, fill a big tall glass of water and drink it! That's right N-O-W!! Get up from the computer, go to the sink, water cooler, get a bottle and go get the water now!!! Designate a special water drinking glass and keep it with you all day. Do this every hour until you're literally swimming (or at least you feel like it!)

Now, time to eat our PROTEIN!!!!! Clean out your system, protein of any sort (and I'm not talking the sausage rolls left over from Christmas Day!) :) Eat some cheese and eat some Low carb veggies--ONLY THOSE THINGS!!!

Time for some EXERCISE!! feeling tired lately? carbs got you down? Just want a nap?? No wonder! No exercise will do that to you! Walk, run, do videos, heck even bench press 2 cans of apple juice--S-O-M-E-T-H-I-N-G to get you moving!

This is YOUR life and live it on your terms! Think of how you want to live--healthy, strong, in control and weight free! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Here's how we're going to do this - The Kick Your Butt Back OP Program-starting today we are going to be 100% on board. Record your plan, your weight, your future goal, the goal for the week and your exercise. I also want to record how much water you drink for without it you will never lose the weight!!!

Here's mine:

Plan: CALP
Goal Weight: 145
This Week: 2lbs loss
Current weight:222
Exercise: Yoga video tapes
Water today: 3 bottles of 500ml each

Join in! We will compare the results to ourselves next week! Be motivated, be strong, together we can do this!

Thanks Pooky! I really needed a good kick in the butt!

Here's my goals:

Plan: Modified Atkins
Goal Weight: 180
This week: 2lbs
Current Weight: 232
Exercise: Walking - 2 miles per day (currently exercise is non exsistant) :eek:
Water today: 120oz

Wish me luck! The only remnant of a holiday meal: turkey, plan ole turkey!

But I have to say, I was thinking the same thing- to start a thread for recommitment and for newbies, to post plans and menus for a few days.

Plan: Atkins/Protein Power(40-60 g. per day carbs, no sugar)
Goal this week: 2 lbs
Starting Weight:185.5
Exercise: mini trampoline
Water!

Great start everyone!!

My goal for today is to get even more water into me and get some exercise in (and lugging laundry up and down the stairs doesn't count!!)

Here's the menu:

B: 4 slices back bacon and 2 eggs, 500ml water, coffee
L: 5 shrimp and seafood dip--believe it or not I fell asleep for 5 hours and missed lunch so this was more of a snack!, cup of tea
D: Korean beef, rice and broccoli and spinach casserole.

Water tally: 4 bottles of 500ml each so far and counting!

Pooky you jump started me. although i have not been totally OP i have not been the best. I also have had a hard time to get to the computer with the kids home and dh too. infact i am on the run to go get another boy home.

glad you took the jump to get us going. I am right behind you!!!, and you are a great leader.

I can not post goals no time I will have to think about them hopefully tonight i can sit down and do my papaer work and then my goals!!!

Glad to see you chicks with lots of enthusiasm for starting over!! Let's keep up the momentum, shall we? I have done very well myself and I am proud that I ate according to my plan today. Today I can look myself and the mirror and feel proud. Today I have followed my plan. Today I have struggled and won today's battle. But I will not sit idly and think that it is over for me. Tomorrow is a new day and with it there are new struggles. Every turn there is temptaton--pasta, bread, sweets, cookies, the whole thing! I will be vigilant tomorrow and every day till I get that weight off my body!

Let this be your guide--every day tell yourself these things and stop beating yourself up for mistakes. Confront them, accept them as real and do better tomorrow. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! Tomorrow is a new day with possibilities, even the possibility of you following your program to the letter and the possibility of losing some more weight!!!

For now--drink more water, eat OP and exercise for fitness. Remember these things and success is coming straight your way! :)
