Is There a Low Carb Buddy Group I Can Join??

Merry Christmas!

I am in need of a Low Carb Buddy Group to join to keep me motivated. Last year I was part of an Atkins group that met here and it worked wonderfully for me. I lost 28 lbs. and I was very motivated. Then school went back in August (I am a teacher) and I got very busy and I fell off-the-wagon. Fortunately I have not gained back very much at all. But I want to lose the final 20 lbs. that I originally was heading for.

I used to weigh 188 and got down to 160. Currently I weigh 164 but I want to get down to 140lbs.

Please point me in the right direction of a group that can help me stay focused an on-track. I am determined to start back up the day after Christmas!

Hope to hear from you!

Help!!

I am a bit blue from all the overeating I have been doing lately, and not low-carb eating!! Earlier in the year, I went on the Atkins WOE plan and decided this was it! Well, it was for a few months, and I did really well. I was at 300, and lost 40 pounds in 5 months. But then I started cheating, and eating a lot of high-carbohydrate foods, and drinking alcohol. So I gained 12 pounds back, but now I feel more tired also. I want to get that zest back in my life. So I said to heck with waiting until Jan 1 to start, I started again today! I will make this work, but need help, and buddies to see me along my way.....hope there will be some others out there who share similar problems :(

I'm with you!

I've been posting here for a while, and I love all the people I've met so far. We are all very friendly and full of information! I am doing Atkins, and even over the holidays I managed to maintain instead of gain. To date I've lost 13 or so pounds, but have been cheating my @ss off until lately! This is it, because by my birthday in November next year I want to be at my goal. Have to buckle down. Good luck to us all!
