I'm so sorry Scooby that you didn't get them back today... I hope she takes them to the shelter Monday. If not put an ad in the paper and maybe shes going to just wait and try to find the owner....

So Sorry
I am crying:cry: I lost my Cairn Terrier--he went through the screened porch and traveled several miles. When I thought he was gone forever--he came home and was on the back steps.

Forgot one thing!
I too offer many prayers--put up notices everywhere and don't give up!!!!!!!!!!

Rachel, More prayers today for you. I hope that you and your son are holding up okay. Surely if the woman took the time to save them from the highway she is taking excellent care of them. I agree she is probably waiting for Monday morning. I hope that you are taking care of yourself in the midst of your worries. Please keep us posted.

Oh Scooby! I am so sorry that you are going thru all of this. Big hugs and big prayers. Just a thought on the shelter...depending on your town it may not open until Tuesday because many towns, like mine close up their town facilities for Veterans Day. I just bet that woman is a kind hearted soul and is spoiling your pups!
hang in there Scoob! peach |
Rachel... I agree.... if this woman was nice enough to pick up two stray dogs to keep them safe she is going to take good care of them until the shelter opens again. Our shelter is connected with the police department. I would call them and see if they know anything about your babies.
I know here a lot of the radio stations will make announcements for you. It is worth a try. They will be open on the holiday. I would post signs at the grocery stores, gas station, corner stores, everywhere. You are pretty sure the dogs are safe... now you just need to find each other. I am still praying for you and your babies. |
Sorry to hear aboutyour puppies, that must be just awful! I hope you get them back really soon and bestow lots of snuggles on them! :)

Oh Dear Scooby,
I know how hard it is, I have been through it myself. I remember when we moved into our new house and Kudo, a young pup at the time, bolted after a rabbit. I chased him through the neighborhood never caught him. I got home and fell on the couch, and called my husband because I thought I was having a heart attach. I ran so fast after that dog I did not know what I was doing. My body was trembling and my breath was short, I could not catch my breath. Another time as a pup he slipped out of his collar and made a beeline for a very busy 5 lane highway. I screamed, I was so scared. Just feet from the traffic, he abruptly turned and ran in a different direction and then back at me. Kudo is now a slow 12 year old he gave us some scares, but it all worked out. It is not only through our 2 legged children that we earn those grey hairs. I bet you will find your dear pups, jenny :smug: |
Are your babies home yet?
