I am having a bad day at the office, had to discipline some people, I hate to do that I feel we are all grown ups and should know what is expected of us at the office.:mad:

Aaaaggg, let me not worry you guys with that. I have managed to post 2 of the 4 pictures that I promised. It looks like the files are too big, what a pity because I want to brag with my handsome husband. LOL LOL.:D :D :D

I took some medication for the waterretention last night and lost the 2lbs that I gained, but I guess that is not the right way to loose weight……:D

Hubby just left for his work and will be gone until tomorrow night. Right now, it is very hectic there and I thought he'd be best off staying in a motel rather than driving 90 miles to come home tonight.
I'm feeling great although a bit paraniod. I "listen" to every twinge in my body now where as I used to ignore them! (With this body there are a heck of alot of twinges!) I'm sleeping well and eating relatively good, but I really don't have much appetite. It could very well be the meds!
Am researching exercises that I can do. I have post-polio-syndrome, so the specialist told me very little exercise. I feel that bike riding is not harmful or stretching either. I somehow feel that some movement has to be positive.
Am off to do the laundry, dusting and maybe doing something about the gray roots! God bless!

Quiet here today, not much to report again. Making Puppy Chow Mix for my son's class on Friday. Serving it up in Holloweenie drinking cups. Helping DH run a boy scout meeting tonight. We are focusing on the US Flag and what it means to be an American. I made red and blue jello and will add some whipped cream to it for a patriotic snack for the boys.

Hensa, sorry about the office problems, you would think most adults would act like adults. Love your wedding pictures.

Peachie, where are you, I see your start up and you have dissappeared!

Pooky, now that Miree's room is done, what is your next project? Love your card exchange idea!

Did not get on the PC first thing and am now having my second coffee. I sometimes love mornings when I get a slow start - drizzle today so no walk. Maybe later.

Hensa, what a beautiful bride you were and ARE. And congrats on getting into ONEderland. Hang tough with those immature employees.

Peachie - where the heck are you? And you didn't even turn on the coffee!

Pooky - great idea re card exchange. Got an idea on how to organize it? We sure don't want to post our addies in here but PM's are safe. So is our extra coop on Yahoo. Hmmmm.

Tippy, you take it easy! No dumb vacuuming - just light dusting. You can pet the cats and Goldie. Maybe Goldie could handle the dusting with that tail? I know Zoo is nearby and could come and beat you up for me if you overdo.

Glad you liked the PWD websites. Little Mother is getting bigger day by day and sleeping a lot. She is resting up for that busy time in less than 3 weeks.

I am still debating whether or not to do my Halloween witch act at the kiddie's party this year. Somehow talk of body parts in a witches brew just seems inappropriate this year. Even up here in Canada, the kids are still traumatized - and so am I. Have not been sleeping well because of horrible dreams.

Anyhow, today is Big Domestic day. I want to get a few meals ready to go and frozen for extra busy days. Cabbage rolls and some chili are on the plan - along with Mount Laundry.

By golly, i am still around and getting back on the low carb wagon--with butt hanging over the sides. It's so great to be back at this site. Am trying to get my sister to post so we can be like jiff and peaches???!!! I am feeling much more motivated to get w/this way of eating since i kissed the summer humidity a fond farewell. I am feeling more alive and able to do some cooking w/o sweating myself silly. So will get down to serious L/carbing and stay intouch. Will be getting a new batch of chicks in feb. and stories will be sure to follow as i enbrace chick motherhood once again. Great to be back--carolk::)

This morning is another drizzly, wet day. Argh! But, I will prevail and venture out in the nasty weather and try my darnest to enjoy it! :(

I got on the silly scale today and I SWEAR it that the 3 doesn't work. I SO badly want to break the 240 mark, but it's been years and I always get to 241/240 and then loose motivation because it seems like it never breaks that mark. This time I am determined to win this battle with the scale. Plus, if it's not working right I want to be able to send it back! LOL!!!

Just a quick pop in to let you know that I am still alive. I have the start of a cold--scratchy throat etc. My husband has been sick for 3 weeks and I finally got him to go to the doctor on Monday. My classroom sounds like a tuberculosis ward!!! They are all sick! I still haven't weighed myself, but one of my co-teachers commented yesterday that I looked like I was losing weight.:D That is a good sign. Only 4 more football games left - 2 fresh/soph and 2 varsity. My son's arm got pretty well scraped up and cut Monday night by someone's metal cleats, but if that is the worst that happens I can live with it!!!! I thought that I would get less worried as time went on, but it hasn't worked out that way.:^: Sorry I haven't been around much, I am going to try to get better about that, where DO the hours of the day go???

jenniwookie--I bet tomorrow will be the day the scale budges!!

Ruth, how is Hershey doing? I know what you mean about the kids--my class of 3rd graders talks about all of the daily events--they are really paying close attention to it all.

Jenny, I LOVE puppy chow!!! Your jello sounds really neat. I have missed being able to visit with you daily on here!

:o Cleaning the sludge out and offering ya 'all (how do you southern gals say that?) an after noon fresh cup of "joe"!

Been sleeping weird lately, got up at 3:30am, did some painting and staring at the walls then got the boys off to school and then hopped back in the sack for a few hours! I have to make some bar cookies for the little guys school for a Red Cross bake sale. Hoping upon hope that I don't lick my fingers!!!

Sure is nice seeing Jiff out and about!:D

Hensa...I bet you are sleeping now and I hope your next day goes better than today. I say put those workers in time out and take away there toys til they can play nice!!!! (hmmmm..makes me think I need a timer with a chicken face on it?!)

Tippy, glad you are feeling better. How about Yoga? I gather from Ruth's post that you have a cat? Could she dust for you by just swishing her tail about a bit? Of course I forget that real people have breakable stuff in their houses...we are still in the plastic toy stage! Had a rousing game of throw the toy lizards against the wall and see if they stick yesterday....just so you know where I am coming from!!!! (maybe Ruth would let you borrow Gail?)

The big kid has to know what all the other kids are wearing before he decides :rolleyes: the little guy will be a T-rex for the 3rd year BUT! he is toying with the idea of letting me duct tape real peacock feathers to his bottom and go as a peacock combination frill lizard :cool: He can than spread the feathers out around his neck and hiss! he likes that!

Carolk - so nice to see you back (although Peach's imagery left a little to be desired!) I'm hoping to get a new batch of chickies this spring myself, but only if we can make a completely critter proof coop. Last time, we lost all my pretty exotic chicks to some hungry critter, probably a racoon or skunk. It broke my heart!

Jenniewookie - I know what you mean about stuck scales! I can't complain too much because I've done really well, but man for almost a week, the darn needle has been either going up or staying the same and I've been a devoted CAD girl. We must stay strong! It will happen!

Peachie - I have a great witch costume that is so goofy that it can't be inappropriate (at least for me, the devoted Rockies fan). I have been known to go as the Wicked Witch of the Western Division. I sewed a Rockies logo from an old baseball hat onto a black witches hat, made a purple yarn straggly hair wig, wear a goofy green nose, makeup and glasses, some old baggie Rockies Sweats, a black cape and carry a black baseball bat for my broom. Too bad your team's so good huh?

That's about it. I have to go be the Queen of ebay and actually do something productive. Ewww!

Ruth - I totally understand your concerns about the witch's brew and body parts - honestly that has always bothered me but as you said we are all just more sensitive to that stuff right now. Surely you will come up with something much better! As creative and witty as you are it should be no problem!!!!

Tip - you must be feeling like a million bucks! Don't over do it girlie! DD is keeping an eye on you while hubby is away?

Guess what happens when you show up late for court!? You get put in a holding cell !!! I thought DS (Stephen) had to be in court on the 18th. Well....WRONG! We got to court an hour late and as soon as he walked in...."give me your jewelry belt and shoe strings!" Hello, my friends. Sorry I haven't checked in for the past few days. Suddenly on S unday I was unable to get online. I knew it had something to do with our new telephone rules. We now have to dial the area code, even for local calls. This meant changing my dial up number to connect with the Net but I'd lost the instructions. I guess a lot of other folks were having the same problem because I couldn't get through to my server by phone or by fax. I finally got ticked off enough to call my cable company and they came by today to connect me to the Net via cable but after getting all the bits and pieces installed, holes drilled in walls, etc., the cable guy checked and found out we won't have cable Internet access until the end of October. DUH! He felt really bad but while he was here, he easily figured out what I'd done wrong with my phone net connection so now I'm up and running again. It's always something so simple I bet a kindergarten kid could figure it out but not this techno-dunce.

Got back from Scotland last Friday night and it's taken me all week to get myself back into this time zone. My head will start nodding around 4 pm and I've had to force myself to stay awake until at least 10.

Tomorrow morning is my first weigh-in at WW since my return and I'm hoping all the extra walking I did climbing castles, etc., will have made a diff to my weight but you never know. For some reason, I start getting the munchies about the same time I start getting tired so I guess there is a connection. Trying to keep the snacks low carb and low fat.

Just wanted to check in. I'll let you know tomorrow how I made out with the metal monster.
