Reaching the Halfway Point!
I looked at my 'ticker' this morning and realized I am almost halfway to my goal. I've lost 78 pounds and have 79 left to go. It has taken 8 months to get to this point, so it's going to take at least 8 more to reach my final goal. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to hitting Onederland in another 15 pounds. Another 34 pounds and I will officially be out of the "obese" body mass range.
This has not been an easy journey. I've been doing it alone except for the support I've received here on the forums. My husband loves me and tries to be supportive but doesn't really know how, so he just pretty much says nothing. (I actually prefer nothing to the wrong thing, so that's okay with me!)
My next mini celebration will be when I reach size 18 and can finally buy clothes off the rack in most American stores. I won't go overboard shopping because I don't plan to stop at size 18, but with any luck, it will be fall and I can finally enjoy participating in the new, fall fashion season.
