Went shopping today for some new clothes, that were much needed.
First, I instinctively went to the plus size department as I have for my entire adult life. Realized there wasn't anything in my new size.
I made my way over to the ladies department and felt like everyone was looking at me thinking 'you don't belong here, none of these things will fit you'
Tried on a pair of pants and thought, this is a fluke, this brand just runs really big.
Finally walked out with two outfits in size 14.
Shopping is an emotional roller coaster! I need a drink!!

On the other hand, doesn't it feel great to be able to wear a size 14?! lol I don't really like shopping, and like it less shopping with my sister because she is so freaking skinny and i'm ... NOT.
She kills me. I tell her I want to lose 60-70 lbs. which would put me between 130 and 140 and she tells me she wants to lose 50.... really? 50 lbs.. she is a size 6 max.

ugh. I hate it when my thin friends talk about being fat. Really?? You're telling ME that?

Exactly Beach! I mean don't get me wrong my sister is super supportive. I just get so irritated with her when she tells me about how much weight she needs to lose.. 50 lbs... she'd prolly weigh like 80 lbs then. seriously though.. she can't weigh more that 135.

I know everyone has insecurities, but I wouldn't complain about not being able to find cute shoes to someone with no feet.

I totally understand!!! That happened to me a couple of times with some clothing articles that I thought would not fit at all but did! Congrats on getting in a 14!!! I look forward to the day I'm able to fit in a 14 again! :carrot: :carrot:
