Styles good for taking in/alterations
 

I have a friend who loves to alter clothes and is happy to do it for free :D What dress and skirt styles lend themselves to taking in? I usually buy from thrift stores or shop really good sales, I don't want to have to get rid of all of my clothes after I lose. I know about consignment shops, but I live near very high end ones and the prices are just as much as dept. store sales. Besides there are one or two items I hate to donate.
