Colored skinny jeans
 

A trend I'm starting to notice is colored skinny jeans, and I'm really digging it. However, I have no idea if I could pull it off! My go-to for jeans is ALWAYS dark denim because it's more flattering, but since I've lost weight I've been wanting to be more open and bold with my fashion choices. For a girl who is a bit more bottom heavy, if I were to go with an actual COLOR, what would you recommend? If we need a picture, I'll take one if need-be.

I'd go with red, but then again that's my favorite color.

I love the colored jeans trend. I don't like to go to bright (I can't pull the Neon trend). I have a pair of baby blue jeans and a pair of burgundy red jeans that are so cute. I've gotten compliments on them, and I happen to have bigger thighs and butt, so while dark jeans may be more flattering, the colored jeans still looked good :)

I think you could probably pull of any color jean. just make sure you're comfortable in them, so that you'll be confident in them, too.

Oh my god don't even get me started on colored skinny jeans. I bought way too many of them. I've been trying to get a pair in every color of the rainbow...I just need yellow! I bought hot pink recently though...

The darker colors are probably most flattering. Best way to find out is to try them on!

I looooooooove them, I used to never wear them, actually I almost always wore black everything but I'm loving colors now. I have red and purple and gonna buy green next. id say go for purple, green or red. they're very flattering and look amaze paired with black or white t shirts or tanks :)

my twin brother (always was skinny) & always wore colored or white jeans and he looked great too, he inspired me lol

I want a purple pair once fall comes. Try them on - the worst that can happen is you have a giggle in the fitting room. :D

I wish I could wear them! Well my weight is low, my legs/butt have not caught up so I would look SOOOO bad in them! They are very cute though if you have the shape to pull them off.

I like this trend too! I think a cobalt blue pair would be a good addition to my fall wardrobe.. as soon as I get brave enough. :P

I love coral, haven't been able to find a good pair. I have some cobalt shorts and I like them. Purple is also good, but I personally wouldn't have much to go with purple. When deciding, maybe think through your shirts to see which color goes with the most.

I just bought a pair of hot pink skinny jeans! I dont know wear i will wear them, but I couldn't pass them up...made it my avatar!

Well see, now I can't find colored skinny jeans in a 14S. I never realized how hard it was to find short (not petite, short!) lengths in stores! Why don't stores carry them? Everyone has regular and long. What do they have against short people?

My sister is short and she just ends up getting a lot of things hemmed. Maybe find a pair cheap enough that getting them hemmed is still within a reasonable budget? ... or a pair nice enough to be worth spending the extra $$ to fit right?

Can't you just cuff skinny jeans though? I'm short and that's why I love them! No hemming, just roll em up and go.
