I'm 5'3'', and weigh 189 and I wear a size 12 in pants. I'm pretty straight up and down though, kindof have a boyish figure. *sigh*

I'm 5'3", 137 pounds, thick around the middle. I just tried on some jeans at Talbots and the size 10s were a bit loose (but they were low riders). I hate buying pants!

jeans are the hardest thing to buy here in the USA....they say it isnt this way anywhere else in the world...everywhere else it is what it is....but in the USA each brand can have it's own sizing....really is hard...had a friend...she was very skinny ....she was very tall compared to me...5'9....she wore anywhere from a size 3-size 9....just was according to what brand....it is so hard for a woman.

Anyone buy pants from Old Navy? Their pants run SMALL SMALL SMALL. I am currently wearing a size 8 in everything but tried on a pair of pants that a co-worker gave me and it was a size 18 !!!!!!!!!!!!! I was like HUH????????

LA, it's funny you mention Old Navy - I was planning on trying them. I just checked their website earlier today and according to their size chart, I would wear a size 10, which seems okay to me. But I know that size charts are often misleading. I'll be curious to see what actually fits me there.

Please let me know if you go in and try on some pants and buy them. I was so blown away when I tried on those 18's and they fit. I had to try on 4 more pair of size 8's from my other brands to make sure that I wasn't dreaming or lieing to myself. LOL

I will check their website now and see what it says for me. LOL

I'm 5'7, 155 lbs, sort of apple-y in shape, and I wear anywhere from a size 2 to a size 8 in trousers.

Ann Taylor Loft, I can fit into a 2.
Calvin Klein Jeans, I can fit into a 4.
H&M, I'd buy an 8 in jeans, a 6 in trousers.
Zara, I fit comfortably into a 6, and can wear a 4 (but a little muffin-y)
Mango, I fit into a 6.
French Connection, I fit into a 6.
Levi's, I fit into an 8.
Gap, I fit a 4. Even a 2 (but a bit muffin-y).

Hope this helps.

5'6", small boned, and I fit into 0 or 00 sized jeans. I love hudson jeans and wear a 00 in them. My seven jeans are also 00. My body is ruler shaped and my legs are pretty toned. I run several miles each week and cross train on days I do not run. This is actually the smallest I have been in my life. I attribute it to a healthy, vegan diet and daily exercise.

5'6 and 140 with muscular thighs. I currently have 1/2 jeans through size 7 that are being actively worn.
